Katsiakis Nikolaos

Katsiakis Nikolaos is a General Surgeon - Breast Surgeon with a private practice in Patras. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly with a degree grade of 8.1/10. He has specialized in mastology and breast surgery. He trained in General Surgery as a resident physician at the University Surgery Clinic of Rio Hospital in Patras. Additionally, he underwent further training in Breast Surgery at the Breast Department of the University Gynecological Clinic of the University of Heidelberg, Germany (Brustzentrum, Frauenklinik, Uni – Heidelberg) and is currently pursuing his PhD at the University of Patras, Medical Department, where he researches the expression and role of various factors in the development of breast cancer. He successfully completed the courses of the Hellenic School of Mastology and voluntarily participates in numerous events organized by the Breast Cancer Women's Association "Alma Zois" in Patras, delivering numerous lectures to women in the wider region of Western Greece, as well as examining and counseling many women in the social clinics organized by the Association. Currently, in addition to his private practice, he receives patients at the Olympio Therapeutic Center in Patras, where he performs surgical procedures. Finally, he has attended numerous conferences and seminars related to Breast Cancer, either as a speaker or participant, and has published his work in Greek and international scientific journals.
