Dr. Terzoudis Sotirios MD PHD FESGE MD, PhD, FESGE

Dr Terzoudis Sotirios MD, PhD, FESGE, Specialist Gastroenterologist - Hepatologist, maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Medical School and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Crete Medical School, with his dissertation focusing on idiopathic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD). He specialized at the University Gastroenterology Clinic of Heraklion, where he actively participated in the IBD outpatient clinics. He received advanced training in high-definition endoscopy (NBI chromoendoscopy) for early cancer detection, as well as in interventional painless endoscopy in England, working alongside Professor Bhandari at Queen Alexandra Hospital, supported by a Fellowship from the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology. Furthermore, he trained in high-resolution manometry under the supervision of Dr Amanda Quine. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Gastroenterology, the Professional Association of Gastroenterologists of Greece, the Hellenic Liver Study Society, the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE), and the European Society for the Study of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. His scientific work includes presentations at pan-European and national gastroenterology conferences, and he has numerous publications in reputable scientific journals. He is a scientific associate of the BioClinic of Thessaloniki. He maintains a modern clinic in the center of Thessaloniki equipped with state-of-the-art endoscopic technology, where endoscopies utilizing electronic NBI chromoendoscopy are performed for the diagnosis and treatment of digestive tract diseases.
