Iliopoulos Dimitrios MD, PhD is a Specialist Internist - Diabetologist with a private practice in Marousi. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of the University of Crete. He has specialized training in diabetology and serves as a scientific collaborator at the diabetology center of the 2nd University Clinic at the General Hospital of Athens "Hippocratio". Ο Χρήστος Κατσούλης είναι Στρατιωτικός Ιατρός, Ειδικός Παθολόγος - Διαβητολόγος. Είναι απόφοιτος του Ιατρικού τμήματος της Στρατιωτικής Σχολή Αξιωματικών Σωμάτων (ΣΣΑΣ) στην οποία εισήχθη το 1986 έπειτα από πανελλαδικές εξετάσεις, ενώ ταυτόχρονα σπούδασε στο Ιατρικό Τμήμα της Σχολής Επιστημών Υγείας του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης από όπου και έλαβε το πτυχίο του το 1992, αποφοιτώντας ταυτόχρονα από τη ΣΣΑΣ. Έλαβε την άδεια ασκήσεως ιατρικού επαγγέλματος το 1993 και το 1994 επιλέχθηκε κατόπιν εξετάσεων που διοργάνωσε η Διεύθυνση Υγειονομικού για να λάβει την ειδικότητα της Εσωτερικής Παθολογίας. Ειδικεύτηκε στην ειδικότητα της Εσωτερικής Παθολογίας για πέντε έτη, από το 1996 έως το 2001, αρχικά στη Παθολογική Κλινική του 424 Γενικού Στρατιωτικού Νοσοκομείου Εκπαιδεύσεως και στη συνέχεια στην Α’ Παθολογική Κλινική του Νομαρχιακού Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θεσσαλονίκης "Άγιος Δημήτριος", με εκπαίδευση και στη Μονάδα Περιτοναϊκής Κάθαρσης. Ταυτόχρονα συμμετείχε στο υπερτασιολογικό ιατρείο, λαμβάνοντας στο τελευταίο έτος τρίμηνες εκπαιδεύσεις στην Καρδιολογία και την Εντατική Θεραπεία. Πέτυχε στις εξετάσεις ειδικότητας Παθολογίας τον Ιούνιο του 2001 και έλαβε τον τίτλο της ειδικότητας του Ειδικού Παθολόγου τον Αύγουστο του 2001. Έχει εργαστεί ως Επιμελητής στην Παθολογική Κλινική του 424 Γενικού Στρατιωτικού Νοσοκομείου Εκπαιδεύσεως, με πλήρη συμμετοχή στο κλινικό, εκπαιδευτικό και ερευνητικό έργο της κλινικής. Έχει εξειδικευτεί στον σακχαρώδη διαβήτη στο Διαβητολογικό Κέντρο της Β΄ Προπαιδευτικής Παθολογικής Κλινικής του Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Θεσσαλονίκης "Ιπποκράτειο", εξειδίκευση που αναγνωρίστηκε από την Διεύθυνση Δημόσιας Υγιεινής της Γενικής Διεύθυνσης Δημόσιας Υγείας του Υπουργείου Υγείας μετά από γνωμοδότηση της Γνωμοδοτικής Επιτροπής για το Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη. Από το Φεβρουάριο του 2025 του ανατέθηκε η διεύθυνση της Β’ Παθολογικής Κλινικής του 424 Γενικού Στρατιωτικού Νοσοκομείου Εκπαιδεύσεως την οποία κατέχει έως τώρα. Έχει υπηρετήσει επί σειρά ετών σε μονάδες εκστρατείας των Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων, επιτελώντας διοικητικό και επιτελικό έργο ταυτόχρονα με το ιατρικό. Ενημερώνεται διαρκώς για τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στην Παθολογία και στην Διαβητολογία, συμμετέχοντας ενεργά σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια. Kotronias Konstantinos is a Geriatrician - Gerontologist and maintains a private practice in Ilioupoli. Additionally, he serves as a Scientific Consultant for Nursing Homes. Dr. Kaza Maria, MD, MSc, PhD, is a Endocrinologist – Diabetologist | Metabolism Specialist and maintains a private practice in Gerakas. She is a contracted Lecturer at the Department of Pharmacy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a doctorate with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with a doctoral thesis entitled "The effect of physical activity on the physical and mental well-being of children and adolescents with diabetes mellitus". She completed with Distinction her postgraduate studies in Endocrinology and Diabetes (MSc in Endocrinology and Diabetes) at the Medical School of Queen Mary University of London (Queen Mary University of London, Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry UK) and is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras. She has been trained in hospitals in Greece and the United Kingdom and possesses extensive clinical experience in a wide range of endocrinological disorders, such as type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus, gestational diabetes, obesity, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and endocrine disorders of pregnancy, polycystic ovary syndrome, menstrual disorders, diseases of the adrenal glands and pituitary, and endocrine hypertension. Her research and academic activities further include publications in international medical journals, participation in Greek and international conferences, as well as teaching experience at the Dietetics and Sport Science departments of Metropolitan and Mediterranean College. Education & Specialization: I am a member of the Swiss Medical Association and a graduate of Medicine with a Master of Science (MSc) in Social-Preventive Medicine and Quality in Healthcare from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. My clinical experience is multidimensional, having served in critical departments such as Internal Medicine, High Dependency Units (HDU), COVID-19 wards, and Emergency Departments (ER). Additionally, I hold International Certifications in Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the National Health Care Provider Solutions (NHCPS) in the USA.

With extensive experience in treating obesity, I specialize in the management of patients with cardiometabolic risk factors. At our practice, we treat cases of both upper and lower respiratory tract infections, as well as urinary tract infections. We also manage patients across the full spectrum of cardiometabolic diseases and Chronic Condition Management, including: Arterial Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Dyslipidemia (High Cholesterol Levels), Obesity. Christina Vougiouklaki is a Specialist Physician based in Kato Petralona, where she has maintained her private practice since 2022. Alongside her private practice, she serves as Consultant at the 1st Internal Medicine Department of the Naval Hospital of Athens (as a Military Doctor of the Hellenic Coast Guard) and is an External Collaborator at Mediterraneo Hospital.

She graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and holds a postgraduate degree in Public Health (National School of Public Health). She completed her specialty training at the 5th Internal Medicine - Infectious Diseases Department of G.N.A. "Evangelismos", while also gaining valuable experience in primary healthcare through her work at the Kerameikos Health Center.

The focus of her clinical activity is Preventive Medicine and the comprehensive protection of patient health. She specializes in the management of acute and chronic conditions—such as infections, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, and dyslipidemia—with the primary goal of reducing overall cardiovascular risk. Dr. Vougiouklaki ensures continuity of care for her patients by providing support both in the clinic and, when necessary, in hospital or home care settings.

Astrakianakis Antonios is a Pathologist who maintains a private practice in the center of Heraklion, Crete. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and has specialized in Internal Medicine at the 3rd Pathology Clinic of the General Hospital of Heraklion "Venizeleio". He regularly attends conferences and continuing education courses in Greece and abroad, with a focus on diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension, and dyslipidemias. In his practice, he manages chronic and emergency cases within the spectrum of pathology, while also issuing health certificates for sports, employment, and driving licenses. In parallel with his private practice, he has previously worked as a Pathologist at the Regional Health Unit of EOPYY (formerly IKA) in Heraklion, at the First Aid Station of Heraklion Airport as an inspecting physician, and has served as a pre-examination doctor and member of various committees of the Disability Certification Center (KEPA), as well as on the Supreme Health Committee for Pension Awards of OGA.

Dr. Markou Mairi is an Endocrinologist-Diabetologist and maintains a private practice in Kolonaki and Livadeia, Boeotia. She graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.) in 2007 and specialized in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos," acquiring significant experience in endocrinological cases. After completing the mandatory Rural Service, she completed the general part of her specialty in Internal Medicine at the General Hospital of Volos from 2010 to 2012, participating in the clinic’s operations and the hospital’s daily general on-call program. Until the start of her specialty training, Dr. Markou worked in the NHS (National Health Service) of the United Kingdom in major hospitals in London, including the A&E department at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, London, as well as the Acute Medical Unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich, London. She completed her specialty training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism in 2020 at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos," where she gained extensive experience in a wide range of endocrinological cases. The hospital’s Endocrinology Department is a Diabetes Center and a Center of Expertise for Rare Endocrinological Diseases (Pituitary – Adrenal – Thyroid). During this training, she also attended the clinics for Gestational Diabetes, Andrology, and Infertility at the General Hospital "Elena Venizelou." Currently, Dr. Markou is an external associate of the Endocrinology Department at "Errikos Dynan Hospital Center." Additionally, in the academic year 2024-2025, she began her studies in the postgraduate program "Surgery of Endocrine Glands" at A.U.Th. and participates in research programs of the Department of Endocrine Gland Surgery at "Errikos Dynan" Hospital.

Keramidas Ioannis is an Endocrinologist with a private practice in Pangrati. He holds a medical degree from Ovidius University in Romania and completed a 2-year postgraduate program in "International Medicine - Health Crisis Management" at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He specialized in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at the Piraeus Specialized Anticancer Hospital "Metaxa" and received training in Pediatric Endocrinology at the General Children's Hospital of Athens "P. & A. Kyriakou." Additionally, he is certified by the European Endocrine Society following written examinations in 2018. He also holds a diploma in polytrauma care, has served as a physician at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and has worked in the Internal Medicine Clinic of the General Hospital of Kyparissia as part of his specialty training. Finally, the physician is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Endocrine Society.

Maria Meliou is a Pathologist - Infectious Disease Specialist and maintains her private practice in Neo Iraklio. She has extensive experience in managing cases both in outpatient clinic settings and in hospital environments, as well as relevant experience in handling pathological conditions in women during pregnancy or the postpartum period, and in managing vulnerable populations. She studied Medicine at the Medical School of Athens, where she was admitted with a scholarship from IKY. She subsequently specialized in Internal Medicine at GNNTHA "Sotiria" and then specialized in Infectious Diseases at GNA “Korgialeneio-Benakeio E.E.S”, receiving a scholarship from EEMAA.
