Markantonakis Georgios is a Psychiatrist who maintains private practices in Agios Nikolaos, Sitia, and Ierapetra, Crete. He holds a PhD in Psychiatry from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated from the Medical School of the Universita Di Catania in Italy. Alongside his private practice, he has collaborated for many years with Non-Governmental Organizations "Metavasi," "Apostoli," "Arogi," and "Xenios Zeus," where he provides his services as a Psychotherapist. Additionally, having acquired specialized knowledge in Aviation Medicine from the Aero Medical Center of Lufthansa, he is currently an Aviation Doctor, "Aero Medical Examiner," authorized by the Civil Aviation Authority. Finally, he has participated in numerous scientific conferences, and notably, he served as a representative of the Ministry of Culture at the Council of Europe during the intercultural dialogue titled "Routes of Monasticism - Orders of Culture," which took place in France, Greece, Romania, Portugal, and Norway during the years 1998-1999.
