Physiotherapists in the Eastern suburbs of Athens

Vogiatzis Xarilaos is a Physiotherapist who maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. He holds a degree in Kinesiotherapy and Physical Education from the National Sports Academy of Sofia and has earned a PhD from the Department of Physiotherapy at the National Sports Academy of Sofia, Bulgaria. He received training in the Chinese Method and Acupuncture at the Physiotherapy Department of the Postgraduate Training Center of the National Sports Academy of Sofia. Additionally, he holds a diploma in the McKenzie Method for mechanical diagnosis and therapy, a diploma in Sujok Therapy from the Medicum College Free Studies Laboratory, and a diploma in manual Neurotherapy and Visceral Mobilization. He has worked as a laboratory associate at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki, as an educator at the 1st Public IEK Thessaloniki, and as a Physiotherapist at the Hellenic Society for the Protection and Rehabilitation of Disabled Children in Thessaloniki. Finally, he regularly attends numerous conferences and seminars and is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists.

Η φυσικοθεραπεύτρια Κυριακάκη Άννα σπούδασε στο Τεχνολογικό Ίδρυμα της Πάτρας, οπότε και ορκίστηκε το 2011. Ούσα φοιτήτρια ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται σε τοπικές αθλητικές ομάδες, ενώ από το 2013 έως και σήμερα δραστηριοποιείται στο χώρο της αποκατάστασης τόσο με κατ’ οίκον επισκέψεις όσο και ως εξωτερικός συνεργάτης σε φυσικοθεραπευτήρια. Παράλληλα, η φυσικοθεραπεύτρια διδάσκει σε Δημόσιες και Ιδιωτικές Δομές Φυσικοθεραπείας.Δεδομένου ότι κύριο μέλημα της κα Κυριακάκη είναι η αποκατάσταση του ασθενή, παρακολουθεί σεμινάρια και ημερίδες, με σκοπό να είναι απόλυτα ενημερωμένη στις εξελίξεις της Φυσικοθεραπείας.

Μέσα από την πολυετή εμπειρία μας, ο ασθενής έχει τη δυνατότητα να αποκαταστήσει την παθολογική κατάσταση για την οποία μας καλεί, καθώς και να προλάβει την εμφάνιση πρόσθετων προβλημάτων, τα οποία ενδέχεται να προέκυψαν άμεσα ή έμμεσα πριν από την εμφάνιση της συμπτωματολογίας.

Οραματιζόμαστε να επιτυγχάνουμε την ολιστική αντιμετώπιση του θεραπευόμενου τόσο στο προεγχειρητικό, όσο και στο μετεγχειρητικό στάδιο της θεραπείας του. Σκοπός μας είναι η πρόληψη και η αντιμετώπιση παθολογικών καταστάσεων, οδηγώντας τον θεραπευόμενο στην κατά το δυνατόν πρότερη λειτουργικότητά του.

Ο ασθενής εκπαιδεύεται στην αναγνώριση και στην διαχείριση της παθολογικής του κατάστασης στις καθημερινές του δραστηριότητες. Με τον τρόπο αυτό, προλαμβάνει τυχόν υποτροπές και δύναται να τις αντιμετωπίσει μαζί μας.

Για τον λόγο αυτό, η ομάδα μας αναζητά συνεχώς νέους τρόπους εξέλιξης στον χώρο της φυσικοθεραπείας και της αποκατάστασης.

Piskopaki Sofia is a Physiotherapy graduate from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh, since 2014, and a registered member of the HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) as well as the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists. She operates a physiotherapy center in Heraklion, Crete. In 2017, she completed her Master's program titled "Orthopedic Science and Rehabilitation" with a focus on Manual Therapy at the University of Nicosia. In her pursuit of new physiotherapy techniques, she completed studies in sports rehabilitation through Clinical Pilates and subsequently attended a series of seminars on sports rehabilitation (Sports Physio) at HOMTD in Attica. Her master's in orthopedic rehabilitation motivated her to deepen her knowledge in acupuncture, leading her to complete studies in 2019 entitled "Acupuncture for Health Professionals" at the University of West Attica (PADE). Later, she earned the title of specialized clinical acupuncture instructor. From 2021 to 2024, she served as Director of the Physiotherapy Department at the Metropolitan College of Heraklion. Since December 2022, she holds the OMT (Orthopaedic Manipulative/Musculoskeletal Therapy) qualification from the internationally certified educational organization Hellenic OMTDiploma (IFOMPT approved). Her clinical experience began in 2015, working alongside renowned physiotherapists in Athens who supported her active engagement in the physiotherapy field as well as in seminar education. Consequently, in 2022, she decided to start as a freelancer in Heraklion, Crete, in a 330 sqm facility in Agios Ioannis with 4 treatment rooms and 2 gyms (therapeutic exercise and clinical Pilates). Certified seminars are also held at the same location in collaboration with Hellenic OMTDiploma (IFOMPT approved).

Fatouros Andreas is a Physiotherapist who operates a private physiotherapy clinic in Paleo Faliro. He holds a degree in Physiotherapy from the Technological Educational Institute of Lamia and is a member of the Panhellenic Association of Physiotherapists (PAP). He has attended a seminar program on acupuncture at the David G. Simons Academy. Additionally, beyond his basic degree, he has completed postgraduate studies in the field of Manual Therapy with recognition from the global federation IFOMPT. For the past 16 years, he has been working as a physiotherapist in the private sector, specializing in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, and spinal disorders. Finally, he is a physiotherapist member of the medical staff of the Women's National Basketball Team.
