Κατείχε τις θέσεις του Cornea and anterior segment Fellow στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Newcastle (Royal Victoria Hospital) και στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο του Southampton. Σε ακαδημαϊκό επίπεδο, ολοκλήρωσε με άριστα το μεταπτυχιακό «Ιατρική μεθοδολογία της έρευνας»  από το Αριστοτέλειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλονίκης το 2020. Από το 2022 είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ στο Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών, με ερευνητικό αντικείμενο τη χρήση της συνεστιακής μικροσκοπίας στις παθήσεις του κερατοειδούς. Από το 2024, παρακολουθεί το δεύτερο μεταπτυχιακό του στο ΕΚΠΑ με τίτλο «Αντιμετώπιση Διαθλαστικών Εκτροπών και Διαθλαστικές Επεμβάσεις».
