Διετέλεσε από το 2013 έως το 2022 μέλος του ιατρικού επιτελείου της ποδοσφαιρικής ομάδας της Bundesliga FC Schalke 04 στο Gelsenkirchen Γερμανίας και απέκτησε κατόπιν εξετάσεων την υποειδικότητα της Αθλητιατρικής από τον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe Γερμανίας. Ανήκει στους λίγους χειρουργούς διεθνώς που είναι εξειδικευμένοι στην αποκατάσταση του οπισθίου χιαστού συνδέσμου του γόνατος. Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του έλαβε το 2008 υποτροφία και σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Βόννης, Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität, στη Γερμανία. Έκτοτε εργάστηκε και εξειδικεύθηκε εξ΄ολοκλήρου στη Γερμανία. Έλαβε την ειδικότητα Ορθοπαιδικής και Τραυματολογίας στο St. Anna Hospital στο Herne της Γερμανίας, ενός Κέντρου Ορθοπαιδικής με 29.500 ασθενείς και άνω των 4.000 αρθροσκοπήσεων ετησίως, και ειδικεύθηκε σε όλο το φάσμα των αθλητικών κακώσεων με έμφαση στις κακώσεις γόνατος, ισχίου, ώμου και ποδοκνημικής άρθρωσης εφαρμόζοντας εξειδικευμένες αρθροσκοπικές τεχνικές ελάχιστης επεμβατικότητας και πρωτόκολλα ταχείας αποκατάστασεις των ασθενών. Από τον Ιανουάριο 2019 ανέλαβε τη θέση Αναπληρωτή Διευθυντή του Κέντρου Χειρουργικής Ισχίου-Γόνατος-Άκρου Ποδός του St. Anna Hospital Herne. Επίσης έλαβε κατόπιν εξετάσεων από τον Ιατρικό Σύλλογο Westfalen-Lippe Γερμανίας την υποειδικότητα Ειδικής Χειρουργικής Τραύματος σχετικά με την αντιμετώπιση περίπλοκων καταγμάτων και πολυτραυματία όπως επίσης και την υποειδικότητα της Επείγουσας Ιατρικής. Συμμετέχει ενεργά με ομιλίες σε διεθνή και ευρωπαϊκά συνέδρια Ορθοπαιδικής και είναι μέλος της Γερμανόφωνης Εταιρίας Αρθροσκόπησης AGA και της Ευρωπαϊκής Εταιρίας Χειρουργικής Γόνατος ESSKA. Papoutsis Konstantinos MD, FEBOT, FRCS (Tr&Orth) is a Military Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon, Traumatologist, and maintains a private practice in Panormou. Gatos Giorgos, MD, MSc, is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist with expertise in Arthroscopic and Open Shoulder and Knee Surgery, Sports Injuries, Reconstructive Surgery, and modern combined Biological therapies. Dr. Tsapakidis Giannis was born in Larisa in 1975 and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. He completed his Orthopedic specialty residency at Tzaneio General Hospital of Piraeus, with part of his training conducted at KAT Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London. He received a scholarship from AO and worked as a Fellow at the Sports Injuries and Trauma Center of Queens Medical Centre University Hospital in Nottingham. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens and a member of AO ALUMNI. Since 2006, he has served as the team physician for the women's basketball team “ESPERIDES” Kallithea (Women’s A1 Basketball Champion for 2006-07 and 2008-09 and Greek Cup Winner for 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09). From 2015 to 2018, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic concerns for the athletes of KAE AEK. Since 2013, he has provided medical coverage for the basketball team PROTEAS VOULAS and from 2015 to 2025 served as the medical provider for the athletes of the basketball team KAE AMAROUSIOU. From 2021 to 2023, he was the team physician for the WOMEN'S NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM, and from 2022 to 2024 for the team of PANIONIOS B.C. Santas Rigas MD, MSc, FASM is an Orthopedic Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in the center of Thessaloniki since 2012. He graduated from the 2nd High School of Thessaloniki and completed his medical studies abroad, obtaining his specialty title with distinction in 2012 at hospital institutions both domestically and internationally. Subsequently, he specialized in trauma surgery at trauma centers abroad in Davos, Switzerland; Strasbourg, France; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He completed an arthroscopic fellowship under the auspices of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) in shoulder and knee. He is a certified surgeon in adult reconstructive surgery (total arthroplasties) using minimally invasive and robotic surgical techniques.
