Dr Koukos Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. He is a former Director of specialized sports injuries at St. Josef Hospital in Wuppertal, Germany. Santas Rigas MD, MSc, FASM is an Orthopedic Surgeon who has maintained a private practice in the center of Thessaloniki since 2012. He graduated from the 2nd High School of Thessaloniki and completed his medical studies abroad, obtaining his specialty title with distinction in 2012 at hospital institutions both domestically and internationally. Subsequently, he specialized in trauma surgery at trauma centers abroad in Davos, Switzerland; Strasbourg, France; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He completed an arthroscopic fellowship under the auspices of the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS) in shoulder and knee. Dr. Panagopoulos Georgios is a Director Orthopedic Surgeon with extensive training and surgical experience in the United States of America and the United Kingdom. Although he is involved in the entire spectrum of Orthopedic Surgery, his primary area of expertise/interest is Arthroscopic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Upper Limb (shoulder, elbow, and hand). Dr. Panagopoulos was born and raised in Athens. He completed his medical studies at the Medical School of the University of Rome, graduating with honors (magna cum laude). Subsequently, he completed his Residency in Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology at the University Orthopedic Clinic of the University of Athens (Attikon University General Hospital). Dr. Panagopoulos expanded his training by completing a fellowship program in the Upper Limb in Pittsburgh, USA (2016-2017). He then served at the world-renowned Shoulder-Elbow Clinic in Reading, United Kingdom (2018-2020), as well as at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore (2020). He also has a master's degree in Public Health from the National School of Public Health. After completing his specialization, he practiced as an Orthopedic Surgeon in Germany, serving as Oberarzt für Orthopädie und Unfallchirurgie in the Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery, Center for Shoulder Surgery, Asklepios Klinik Seligenstadt. From 2016 to 2020, he worked as Leitender Oberarzt in the Clinic for Shoulder Surgery at Klinik Maingau vom Roten Kreuz, Frankfurt am Main. He is also Head of the Upper Limb Surgery and Sports Injuries Department at Osteon Orthopedic and Spine Clinic. Additionally, he is the Director of the Orthopedic Clinic - Upper Limb Department at the Athens Medical Center.
