Dr. Totlis Tryfon is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist, PhD holder, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Scholarship of Excellence from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been awarded 7 scholarships/training fellowships in Greece and abroad, including at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, USA, and St. Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany. At these clinics, he specialized in arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, as well as joint replacement with prostheses (arthroplasty). He has an extensive scientific portfolio, having authored more than 270 studies and 90 scientific articles in Greek and international journals and is frequently invited as a speaker for lectures both in Greece and internationally. He is a member of the board of directors of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA/EKA), vice president of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Regenerative Medicine, and a board member of the Hellenic Sports Medicine Society, as well as an active member of other international and national scientific societies. He was part of the medical team of the football club PAOK FC in the Superleague from 2016 to 2019 and serves as a consulting orthopedic surgeon for numerous teams across various sports and levels. He maintains his scientific office at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and sees patients at the TheMIS Orthopedic Center in Kalamaria, at his private practice in Edessa, and at the specialized Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine Clinic at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Panorama, Thessaloniki. He was himself a basketball athlete, and his approach philosophy is "movement + functionality" = "quality of life."
