Dr. Totlis Tryfon is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist, PhD holder, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Scholarship of Excellence from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been awarded 7 scholarships/training fellowships in Greece and abroad, including at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, USA, and St. Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany. Dr Koukos Xristos is an Orthopedic Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. He is a former Director of specialized sports injuries at St. Josef Hospital in Wuppertal, Germany. He completed his specialization and sub-specialization entirely in Germany. He undertook advanced training at world-renowned sports injury centers specializing in shoulder and elbow injuries, including: ATOS Klinik München (Prof. Martetschläger, Prof. Tauber), Klinikum Rechts der Isar (Prof. Imhoff), OCC Tübingen (Prof. Kasten), ARCUS Klinik Pforzheim (PD Dr. Burkhart), and AZ Monica Antwerp (Prof. Van Riet). In 2017, he served as Consultant at Sportklinik Duisburg, and in 2018, he was appointed Head of the arthroscopy department at the Evangelical Hospital of Mettmann (EVK Mettmann). In 2022, he assumed the position of Director at St. Josef Hospital in Wuppertal, overseeing 1,700 surgeries annually exclusively related to sports injuries of the knee, shoulder, and elbow. He is a certified trainer of the German Arthroscopic Society (AGA). Giantsidis N Georgios MD, MSc is a Military Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon and consultant at the 1st Orthopedic Department of the 424 General Military Training Hospital. He maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki, in the Voulgari area. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Military Medicine) in 2012 and subsequently served as a physician in Special Forces Military Units. He completed his specialty training at the 424 General Military Hospital and the General Hospital of Thessaloniki "Georgios Papanikolaou." During his residency, he performed numerous orthopedic surgeries, participated in many fracture repair and orthopedic disorder surgeries, trained in urgent and routine cases of his specialty, and actively contributed to the scientific work of his clinic. Since then, he has been serving as an orthopedic consultant at the 1st Orthopedic Department of the 424 General Military Training Hospital, performing a large number of surgical procedures annually across the full spectrum of Orthopedic specialty.
