Tsironi Maria MD, FEBO is a Surgeon Ophthalmologist and maintains a private clinic in Ilioupoli. She graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and has completed a Postgraduate Program in Medical Imaging in Ophthalmology at the same educational institution. Dr. Thomas Siempis is a highly trained Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, subspecialized in Glaucoma, Cataract, and Anterior Segment Surgery. He completed his training in Glasgow (Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology) and pursued further fellowship training at the University of Toronto through the world-renowned GAASS Fellowship under Dr. Ike Ahmed. He is the only ophthalmologist in Greece with this specific subspecialty training and one of the very few across Europe. He has served as Consultant Ophthalmologist at King’s College Hospital NHS Trust in London and currently runs a state-of-the-art private clinic in the center of Thessaloniki (110 Mitropoleos Street). Dr. Mintziras Dionysios is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Galatsi. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his Ophthalmology specialty training at the 251 Air Force General Hospital and the Theia Pronoia Hospital "H Pammakaristos." Desiris Panagiotis MD, PhD, MSc is an Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Thessaloniki since 2009. He holds a Doctorate in Ophthalmology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Medical School of the same institution. Additionally, he holds a Master's Degree in Health Unit Management from the School of Social Sciences of the Hellenic Open University. He completed his specialization at the Ophthalmology Clinics of the General Hospital of Kavala and the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki AHEPA, and he has further specialized in Cataract Surgery and Refractive Surgery in the United Kingdom. Dr. Kotsiras Ioannis, MD, MSc, is an Ophthalmologist and Deputy Director at "Errikos Dunant Hospital Center" and maintains private clinics in Nea Smyrni, Petroupoli, and Medihall in Kifissia. Dimitrios Zikos is an ophthalmologist specialized in cataract microsurgery and refractive surgery. After completing his residency at "A. Fleming" Hospital, he began working pro bono at the social clinic of the Municipality of Helliniko - Argyroupoli and in his private practice located in the Glyfada area. Throughout his career, Dr. Zikos has managed numerous conditions, including myopia, astigmatism, glaucoma, keratoconus, cataract, hypermetropia, and chalazion. Vardavas Euripidis is an Ophthalmologist and Scientific Director of the Diavgeia Eye Center. He is a graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. After completing his mandatory rural service at the Infectious Diseases Hospital of Athens, he specialized in Ophthalmology at the Athens Polyclinic and the Athens Eye Clinic. Subsequently, he attended numerous seminars and medical conferences abroad for several years in order to gain further expertise in contact lens application. He has been involved in contact lens fitting, specifically for keratoconus, since 1973.
