Kontaksakis Anastasios MD, PhD, FEBO is a Military Ophthalmic Surgeon with a private practice in Chania. He holds a Doctorate from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, is a Consultant at the Ophthalmology Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Crete, and a diplomate of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). He specialized in cataract microsurgery, refractive surgery for the correction of myopia/astigmatism/hyperopia, pediatric ophthalmology, and intravitreal injection of anti-VEGF agents for the treatment of macular diseases. He completed his specialty at the 1st University Ophthalmology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas".
