Ο Γεράκης Ιωάννης είναι Γαστρεντερολόγος - Ηπατολόγος με ιδιωτικά ιατρεία στη Θεσσαλονίκη και στα Διαβατά. Είναι πτυχιούχος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Ovidius και έχει ιδιαίτερη εμπειρία στην αντιμετώπιση παθήσεων και καταστάσεων του πεπτικού συστήματος. Ειδικεύθηκε στη Παθολογία στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Γιαννιτσών και στη Γαστρεντερολογία στο Αντικαρκινικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης "Θεαγένειο". Μέχρι και σήμερα είναι Επιστημονικός υπεύθυνος στο Ιατρικό Τμήμα της Express Service και διατηρεί συνεργασία με τη ''Euromedica" Γενική Κλινική Θεσσαλονίκης και τη Βιοκλινική Θεσσαλονίκης. Στο ιδιωτικό του ιατρείο παρέχει εξειδικευμένες υπηρεσίες γαστροσκόπησης, κολονοσκόπησης, ορθοσκόπησης, λήψης βιοψιών για ιστολογική εξέταση και αφαίρεσης πολυπόδων. Τέλος, ο γιατρός είναι μέλος της Ελληνικής Eταιρείας Mελέτης του Ήπατος και της Ελληνικής Γαστρεντερολογικής Eταιρείας.
