Ο Λευτέρης Αζάς είναι Παθολόγος – Διαβητολόγος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Νέο Ψυχικό.Ο ειδικός κατέχει επίσημο τίτλο εξειδίκευσης στο Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη από το Υπουργείο Υγείας) και Αναπληρωτής Διευθυντής Γ’ Παθολογικής Κλινικής του Νοσοκομείου ”ΥΓΕΙΑ”.Έλαβε το απολυτήριο Λυκείου με ” Άριστα” από την Πρότυπο Σχολή Αναβρύτων το 1984 και το ίδιο έτος εισήχθη μέσω Πανελληνίων εξετάσεων στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών , από την οποία αποφοίτησε το 1991.Εν συνεχεία εκπόνησε την διδακτορική του διατριβή στο Διαβητολογικό Κέντρο Β´ Προπαιδευτικής Παθολογικής Κλινικής Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών , όπου εξειδικεύθηκε στην αντιμετώπιση ασθενών με σακχαρώδη διαβήτη. Το 2001 απέκτησε τον τίτλο Ιατρικής Ειδικότητας Παθολογίας.Απέκτησε Μεταπτυχιακό Δίπλωμα (M.Sc. ) με τίτλο «ΜΕΤΑΒΟΛΙΚΑ ΝΟΣΗΜΑΤΑ ΤΩΝ ΟΣΤΩΝ» στο Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό ΠΑΝΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΙΟ ΑΘΗΝΩΝ την περίοδο 2007-2009.

Ασχολήθηκε ενεργά με την εκπαίδευση στην ιατρική : Υπεύθυνος για πολλά έτη της εκπαίδευσης των 4ετών φοιτητών της Α΄ Παθολογικής Κλινικής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών στο μάθημα της Κλινική Σημειολογίας και Διαφορικής Διάγνωσης. Στην παρούσα φάση έχει αναλάβει στο Νοσοκομείο ΥΓΕΙΑ , την διδασκαλία της Παθολογίας σε 6ετείς φοιτητές Ιατρικής του Ευρωπαϊκού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου (EUC). Στα πλαίσια της συνεχιζόμενης εκπαίδευσης συμμετέχει στα σπουδαιότερα (παγκόσμια και πανευρωπαϊκά ) συνέδρια σακχαρώδη διαβήτη, λοιμώξεων και οστεοπόρωσης , ενώ είναι προσκεκλημένος ομιλητής σε πολλά συνέδρια και εξειδικευμένα σεμινάρια που καλύπτουν ολόκληρο το φάσμα της Παθολογίας

o Πρόληψη/καθυστέρηση εμφάνισης διαβήτη τύπου 2 στα άτομα με προδιάθεση

Konstantinos Mpalampanis MD, PhD is an Internal Medicine Physician - Diabetologist with private practices in Piraeus, Salamina, and Athens. He holds a doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Patras and earned his medical degree from the same university. He is certified in BLS/AED (Basic Life Support) and ILS/AED (Immediate Life Support) by the European Resuscitation Council. He completed his specialty training in Internal Medicine at the 2nd Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the University of Athens and has since served as a University Research Fellow in Internal Medicine - Diabetes Mellitus & Obesity at the 2nd Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic of the University of Athens and the Research Unit of the Attikon University Hospital. Since 2013, as part of his tenure at the 2nd Propaedeutic Clinic of the University of Athens - Diabetes Center, he has been actively involved daily in the activities of the Diabetes Clinic of the 2nd Propaedeutic Internal Medicine Clinic. He has participated as a Sub-Investigator in over 18 multicenter studies (phase 2 & 3) focusing on Diabetes Mellitus, Obesity, Fatty Liver Disease, and Lipodystrophies. This activity continues to the present. He has a substantial research and teaching portfolio and has participated in conferences and seminars both in Greece and internationally. Finally, it is worth noting that his private practice offers, among other services, specialized diabetes, pre-diabetes, and obesity screening, as well as dietary services (through collaboration with Dietitians - Nutritionists), always fully understanding the specific needs of each patient.

Maria Meliou is a Pathologist - Infectious Disease Specialist and maintains her private practice in Neo Iraklio. She has extensive experience in managing cases both in outpatient clinic settings and in hospital environments, as well as relevant experience in handling pathological conditions in women during pregnancy or the postpartum period, and in managing vulnerable populations. She studied Medicine at the Medical School of Athens, where she was admitted with a scholarship from IKY. Paraskeui Savvari is an Internist and maintains a private practice in Marousi. She holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Sparta/Regional Clinic "Petrinas" and subsequently worked as a scientific collaborator in the Intensive Care Unit of the Therapeutic Clinic at the General Hospital "Alexandra," gaining valuable experience in managing patients with coronary artery disease and heart failure. She holds a PhD from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her specialty in Internal Medicine at the University Therapeutic Clinic of the General Hospital "Alexandra," where she trained for 1.5 years in managing patients with acute cerebrovascular stroke (A.C.E) in the stroke unit.
