Έχει πλούσια επιστημονική δραστηριότητα με συμμετοχή σε ελληνικά και διεθνή συνέδρια με παρουσίαση εργασιών, δημοσιεύσεις σε εγχώρια και διεθνή περιοδικά και συμμετοχή ως κύριος ερευνητής σε εγχώριες και διεθνείς πολυκεντρικές μελέτες. Τέλος, τελεί Ιατρικός Συνεργάτης της ιταλικής πρεσβείας στην Αθήνα.
