His initial postgraduate training was completed at the University Orthopedic Clinic of the renowned Rizzoli Hospital in Bologna, Italy, specializing in arthroplasty surgery. Subsequently, he trained in Paris in the innovative minimally invasive AMIS technique for hip arthroplasty and is a certified instructor of this technique. He maintains private practices in Chalkida and Marousi, Attica, and also conducts examinations and performs surgical procedures in Cyprus. He was born and raised in Chalkida and originates from Nafplio. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Patras and holds a Master's Degree in "Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Diseases" from the Medical School of the University of Athens. He graduated with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a PhD from the University of Ulm in Germany. He is an official trainer of the MAKO Robotic System and the minimally invasive technique “SuperPath” in Europe for Hip and Knee Arthroplasties and has trained over 450 surgeons from Europe and beyond in more than 45 educational courses. He graduated from the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and is a Consultant - Head Orthopedic Surgeon at Coventry and Warwick University Hospital in the United Kingdom and a member of the British Royal College of Surgeons.
