Papamentzelopoulos Spyridon is a Cardiologist and operates a private practice in Piraeus. He was admitted to the Military Officers School of Corps and is a graduate of the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He initially specialized in Pathology at the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens for two years, including nine months in the Intensive Care Unit, and subsequently specialized in Cardiology for four years at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center. There, he participated in the management of numerous and complex cardiological cases, while also performing hundreds of diagnostic (stress tests, echocardiograms, Holter monitoring, and others) and interventional procedures (coronary angiographies, angioplasties, cardiac catheterizations, intravenous pacing). Additionally, he has participated in international studies of new transcatheter techniques for treating cardiac valve diseases (TAVI), as well as in the monitoring of patients with heart failure (using left ventricular assist devices [LVAD]) and heart transplantation. At his private practice, he provides specialized solutions tailored to the needs of his patients.
