Ο Σαράντος Παπαδόπουλος είναι Μαστολόγος διατηρώντας ιδιωτικά ιατρεία σε Αθήνα και Θεσσαλονίκη. Αποφοίτησε από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Αννοβέρου (Medizinische Hochschule Hannover-MHH) στην Κάτω Σαξωνία (Niedersachsen) της Γερμανίας και στην συνέχεια εργάστηκε στην πανεπιστημιακή αιματοογκολογική παθολογική Κλινική “Robert Roessle Klinik της Charite” (Humboldt Universitaet zu Berlin, Διευθ. Prof. Dr. med. B. Doerken), όπου και ολοκλήρωσε τη διατριβή του με θέμα τις γενετικές μεταλλάξεις του καρκίνου του μαστού. Συνέχισε την εκπαίδευσή του στις πανεπιστημιακές γυναικολογικές κλινικές Benjamin Franklin Klinikum (Freie Universitaet Berlin, Διευθ. Prof. Dr. med. H. K. Weitzel) και Marienhospital Herne (Ruhr Univesitaet Bochum, Διευθ. Prof. Dr. med. G. Schaller, αργότερα Διευθ. Komm. Leiter Dr. med. Y. Saklaoui). Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητας εξοικειώθηκε με όλες τις σύγχρονες και κλασικές χειρουργικές τεχνικές της γυναικολογίας (λαπαροσκόπηση, υστεροσκόπηση, χειρουργεία ανοιχτής κοιλιάς) και εκπαιδεύτηκε στη διαχείρηση και αντιμετώπιση του επείγοντος γυναικολογικού και μαιευτικού περιστατικού. Τον Οκτώβριο του 2006 απέκτησε μετά από επιτυχείς εξετάσεις τον τίτλο ειδικότητας Γυναικολογίας και Μαιευτικής στη Γερμανία. Μετά την απόκτηση του τίτλου ειδικότητας εργάστηκε για 2 χρόνια στην πανεπιστημιακή κλινική του Bochum (Marienhospital Herne) ως επι το πλείστον με τη διάγνωση και θεραπεία γυναικολογικών καρκίνων, καθώς και του καρκίνου του μαστού. Στη συνέχεια  εργάστηκε για περισσότερα από 10 έτη ως επιμελητής σε ένα από τα μεγαλύτερα κέντρα μαστού (Zertifiziertes Brustzentrum) της Γερμανίας  με 650 πρωτοπαθή καρκινώματα ετησίως (Ruhr Brustzentrum EVK Gelsenkirchen, Διευθ. Dr. A. Abdallah), στο οποίο και παραμένει επιστημονικός συνεργάτης. Αυτό το κέντρο μαστού είναι φημισμένο για τη μεγάλη του ειδικότητα και εξειδίκευση στην ογκοπλαστική τεχνική χειρουργικής του μαστού (ο Διευθυντής Dr. Α. Abdallah ήταν μαθητής του «πατέρα» της ογκοπλαστικής Prof. Dr. med. W. Audretsch και συγγραφέας επιστημονικού συγγράμματος με θέμα την ογκοπλαστική, Onkoplastische Brustchirurgie, Fallbezogener Αtlas/ oncoplastic breast surgery, case related atlas, Deutscher Ärzteverlag Köln, 2008) καθώς και στην επανορθωτική χειρουργική (με ενθέματα σιλικόνης ή κρημνούς). Aroutzidis Stauros is a Obstetrician Gynecologist who maintains his private practice in Kallithea. Δουβετζέμης έχει αποκτήσει την επίσημη ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση της UEMS για τη Χειρουργική του Μαστού (FEBS), μετά από επιτυχή συμμετοχή του, με την πρώτη προσπάθεια, σε γραπτές και προφορικές πανευρωπαϊκές εξετάσεις (EBSQ), ενώ είναι αξιοσημείωτο ότι από το 2021 έχει την τιμή να είναι ο ίδιος εξεταστής της UEMS για τη χορήγηση της ευρωπαϊκής πιστοποίησης στους χειρουργούς μαστού. Τιμή την οποία έχουν ελάχιστοι χειρουργοί μαστού διεθνώς, καθώς η επιλογή γίνεται με πολύ αυστηρά κριτήρια. Επίσης, ήταν από τους πρώτους χειρουργούς μαστού στην Ευρώπη που απέκτησαν την ευρωπαϊκή πιστοποίηση της BRESO για τη Χειρουργική Ογκολογία του Μαστού (CEBS). Ο Δρ. Δουβετζέμης είναι Fellow του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου Χειρουργών της Αγγλίας (FRCS). Η ακαδημαϊκή του πορεία στο Λονδίνο ξεκίνησε με την εκλογή του ως Clinical Lecturer (Επίκουρος Καθηγητής) της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου King’s College, στο οποίο κατόπιν εξελέγη Senior Lecturer (Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής). Είναι, Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας (University of Nicosia), Deputy Academic Lead για όλα τα Νοσοκομεία του ομίλου HHG (Υγεία, Metropolitan Hospital, Metropolitan General, Μητέρα) και Clinical Lead για την εκπαίδευση των φοιτητών ιατρικής στη χειρουργική του μαστού σε όλα τα Νοσοκομεία του ομίλου HHG. Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, στην οποία ολοκλήρωσε και τη Διδακτορική του Διατριβή (PhD). Πριν μεταβεί στο Λονδίνο, για την εξειδίκευσή του στη Χειρουργική του Μαστού, ειδικεύθηκε στη Γενική Χειρουργική στη Δ’ Χειρουργική Κλινική Γενικού Νοσοκομείου Αθηνών "Ευαγγελισμός" και απέκτησε τον τίτλο του Γενικού Χειρουργού. Είναι, επίσης, επιστημονικός συνεργάτης στο Εργαστήριο της Ανατομίας και Χειρουργικής Ανατομίας "Ανατομείο" της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών. Έχει ενεργό συμμετοχή σε διεθνή συνέδρια και σεμινάρια και συνεισφορά στην εκπαίδευση των προπτυχιακών και μεταπτυχιακών φοιτητών της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών, του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας και του King’s College του Λονδίνου. Τέλος, άρθρα του έχουν δημοσιευθεί σε διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά και είναι συγγραφέας κεφαλαίων σε διεθνή ιατρικά βιβλία.
