Flamourakis Manthos was born in Heraklion, Crete. He obtained his Medical Degree from the Seconda Universita degli Studi di Napoli. He served his military service at the Naval Hospital of Crete, in the Surgical Department, and subsequently, until the completion of his specialty training, he was trained at the General Hospital of Agios Nikolaos, the Cancer Hospital “Agios Savvas,” and the Venizelio Pananeo Hospital. In 2015, he was awarded the title of surgical specialist. From 2015 to 2022, he worked at the Venizelio Pananeo Hospital as a General Surgeon, performing more than 2,000 surgeries, thereby gaining extensive experience in both emergency and elective cases. In 2021, he was awarded a postgraduate degree from the MSc program “Colorectal Surgery” at the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Since 2022, he has maintained a private practice where he manages oncological, elective, and emergency cases.

Protopapas Giannoulis MD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Gkyzi. He holds a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and completed his specialization in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas". He received further training in Emergency Prehospital Medicine and holds certifications in ATLS and Definitive Surgical Trauma Care Course. He is affiliated with the Athens Clinic and Doctor's Hospital. Additionally, he is a member of the Hellenic Society for Wound and Ulcer Healing and participates in numerous conferences in Greece and abroad as part of his continuous professional development, and has presented both oral and poster presentations.

Ο Δημήτρης Π. Dimitriadi Katerina is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Koukaki for the past five years. She holds a Medical Degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She completed her specialization in General Surgery at G.N.A. Vasileios Mermigkas is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Ilioupoli. He is a graduate and honored PhD of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his specialty in General Surgery at the Athens Children's General Hospital "Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou" and at the Athens General Hospital "Laiko," where he was introduced to and trained in the then new technique of Laparoscopic surgery. Dr Liagkos Th Georgios MD, PhD is a General Surgeon - Proctologist, graduate of the Medical School of Patras, and has been awarded a PhD with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the Head of the 2nd Surgical Clinic for Anorectal Diseases at the Lumedica group and serves as a Scientific Collaborator Surgeon - Proctologist at Metropolitan Hospital in Neo Faliro and at Therapis in Athens. Agalianos Xristos is a General Surgeon and operates a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Military Academy of Corps Officers (ΣΣΑΣ) in 2002 as a medical officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed his specialty in General Surgery in 2011 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Navy Hospital of Athens. Alivizatos Vasileios MD, PhD is a general surgeon, Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and former Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at the General Hospital of Patras "Saint Andrew," where he served for a total of 36 years as a specialized surgeon. During his career, he received advanced training in liver-biliary-pancreatic surgery in Bern, Switzerland; new hernia repair techniques in Mechelen, Belgium; and Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral, Enteral) in Manchester, United Kingdom. He has extensive experience in surgical procedures of minor and moderate severity (hernias, pilonidal cyst, lipomas, biliary diseases, anal conditions, etc.), as well as major surgeries (benign and malignant diseases of the stomach, small and large intestine, kidney, uterus, ovaries) and benign and malignant diseases of the pancreas (chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic tumors, pancreaticoduodenectomies Whipple). Currently, he practices in the private sector, covering the full spectrum of general surgery as well as Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral and Enteral, gastrostomies, enterostomies) for patients with chronic conditions who are unable to be fed orally.

Minotakis Konstantinos is a General Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Marousi. He graduated from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he was admitted in 1973 with a scholarship. Following his medical studies and rural service, he specialized in General Surgery at the Hellenic Red Cross Hospital. Maria Mixailidou MD, FACS, FASCRS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice within the HYGEIA Hospital in Marousi. Dr. Ioannis Dimitriou, MD, PhD, is a General Surgeon, Certified Oncologic Surgeon, Proctologist, and Minimally Invasive Surgeon, maintaining a private practice in Marousi, Greece. He specializes in Robotic Surgery (Da Vinci X- & XI-System ©INTUITIVE) and holds a PhD from the Medical School of Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany. Dr. Dimitriou studied at the Medical School of Justus Liebig University in Giessen, where he also successfully completed his doctoral thesis. Finally, with over 20 years of experience, he co-organizes Greek and international conferences, keeping up with and contributing to advancements in surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and bariatric surgery.
