Dr. Kexagias Aristotelis MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon with a subspecialty in Advanced Laparoscopic and Endocrine Surgery, as well as Laser procedures. He is a summa cum laude Doctor of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Tsakiris Ioannis is a General Surgeon - Proctologist and maintains his practice in Ambelokipi. He undertakes treatments for inguinal and umbilical hernias using both laparoscopic and traditional techniques. Additionally, he manages the treatment of anorectal diseases with laser therapy, for which he has received training abroad, as well as the laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder. He also conducts home visits for patients who have difficulty traveling, providing postoperative evaluation if requested. Kyziridis Dimitrios is a General Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Thessaloniki. He holds a PhD from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). Tzatzarakis Emmanouil is a General Surgeon - Endocrine Surgeon, PhD holder from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. In 2008, he was admitted to the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, from which he graduated in 2014 with an excellent degree (8.8). After graduation, he moved to Germany, where he began his training in the specialty of General Surgery at the University Clinic of Mannheim, completing it in 2021. He continued to work at the same clinic as a Senior Registrar II until 2024, with a special focus on laparoscopic repair of abdominal wall hernias. In 2022, he completed his doctoral dissertation at the University of Heidelberg, earning the title of Doctor (Dr. med.). From 2024 until June 2025, he worked as a Senior Registrar I at the Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery Center of Marienhaus Klinikum in Mainz, Germany, where he performed approximately 200 thyroid and parathyroid surgeries and participated in over 500 in total. In June 2025, he relocated to his wife’s hometown, Kalamata, together with her and their two children, beginning his professional activity in Greece.

Είναι εκπαιδεύτρια Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής στο διεθνή φορέα εκπαίδευσης της Intuitive, την Ακαδημία ORSI στο Βέλγιο. Επίσης, είναι μέλος του Βασιλικού Κολλεγίου Χειρουργών του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου (FRCS) και διαπιστευμένη ενδοσκόπος από την JAG και πιστοποιημένη τόσο για διαγνωστική όσο και για θεραπευτική ενδοσκόπηση (EMR, ESD).

Το 2022 πραγματοποίησε την πρώτη Ρομποτική Κολεκτομή δια φυσικών οπών- χωρίς τομή στην κοιλιά (NOTES) στην Ευρώπη.

Το 2024, πραγματοποίησε πρώτη παγκοσμίως προηγμένη ρομποτική επέμβαση με χρήση τεχνητής νοημοσύνης για real-time πλοήγηση και αναγνώριση εργαλείων και οργάνων.

Συμμετέχει ενεργά ως προσκεκλημένη ομιλήτρια σε διεθνή συνέδρια για τη ρομποτική χειρουργική και τα ERAS πρωτόκολλα, συμβάλλοντας στην εξέλιξη της ρομποτικής χειρουργικής χειρουργικής παγκοσμίως.

Ioanna Papadopoulou is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Cholargos and Glyfada. She performs exclusively laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as all types of abdominal wall hernias. She received her Medical Degree from the “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2012. She completed her rural service at the General Hospital of Messinia – Kyparissia Nursing Unit in 2013–2014. In 2021, she obtained her surgical specialty certification.

During her specialty training, she served at the 417 Army Fund Nursing Institution (N.I.M.T.S), where she specialized in advanced laparoscopic surgery for malignant colon diseases, obesity, reflux, and hernias, as well as thyroid malignancies. Additionally, at the Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, she participated in a large volume of colon and thyroid cancer surgeries. Considering that the present of surgery lies in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, she attended advanced laparoscopic seminars organized by ELPEN under the auspices of the Hellenic Surgical Society from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, she completed further training in Surgical Oncology, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Finally, in 2023, she received additional training in the latest methods for managing complex diaphragmatic hernias and reflux at the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery in Malta.

Kelgiorgi Dionysia MD, MSc is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Chalandri. She holds a Master's Degree in "NEW TECHNOLOGIES IN DIGESTIVE SURGERY – MINIMALLY INVASIVE TECHNIQUES – BARIATRIC SURGERY" from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She is currently an instructor in this postgraduate program at the University of Athens. She has received certification in laparoscopic surgery from the internationally renowned IRCAD center of excellence in Minimally Invasive Surgery, Strasbourg. She is also certified in the use of surgical laser from a reference center for perianal diseases in Leipzig, Germany. She specializes in Minimally Invasive Surgery (Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery, Surgical Laser), as well as surgical oncology. She has served as Consultant Surgeon in the Robotic Surgery and Surgical Oncology Clinic at Metropolitan General Hospital and held the same position for three years at the Euroclinic of Athens. Additionally, she was Consultant Surgeon at the accredited Center of Excellence for Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery of the Euroclinic Athens. She is a member of Greek and European scientific societies, including the European and Hellenic Society of Endoscopic Surgery, the European and Hellenic Hernia Society, the European Society of Coloproctology, and the Hellenic Surgical Society, participating in their advanced training courses. Agalianos Xristos is a General Surgeon and operates a private practice in Chania. He graduated from the Military Academy of Corps Officers (ΣΣΑΣ) in 2002 as a medical officer of the Hellenic Navy. He completed his specialty in General Surgery in 2011 and was appointed as a Consultant Surgeon at the Navy Hospital of Athens. He specialized in liver, biliary tract, and pancreatic surgery both at reference centers in Greece and at the university hospital in Verona, Italy, where he also completed his postgraduate degree in this field. Dr. Ioannis Zouridakis, MD, MSc, is a General Surgeon and Breast Specialist who has maintained a private practice in Korydallos since 1994 and recently within REA Hospital. He is a Scientific Collaborator and a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He earned his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with a doctoral thesis completed during his studies. He specialized in General Surgery at the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and further specialized in Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Montpellier in France. He attended the European Advanced Level Course in Breast Disease Management for Surgeons in Athens and specialized in the treatment of breast diseases at the 6th Oncology Hospital "G. Gennimatas." Subsequently, he specialized in hernia surgery using dual mesh PHS & Prolene 3D Patch at Umberto I Hospital in Italy and also specialized in Minimally Invasive Operating Techniques in Colorectal Surgery. He has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics and has served for many years as the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital.
