Dr. Kexagias Aristotelis MD, PhD, FACS is a General Surgeon with a subspecialty in Advanced Laparoscopic and Endocrine Surgery, as well as Laser procedures. He is a summa cum laude Doctor of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Dr. Napoleon Xirokostas is a board-certified General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Laparoscopic, Robotic, and Oncologic Surgery. He maintains a private medical office in Rafina, Greece, and also serves as a Consultant Surgeon at the 1st Surgical Department of IASO General Hospital in Athens.

He completed his residency in General Surgery at Evangelismos General Hospital of Athens, the largest tertiary care and trauma center in Greece, where he also held the position of Chief Resident. Over the course of his training, he participated in more than 1,000 surgical procedures, including a wide spectrum of emergency, oncologic, and minimally invasive surgeries.

Perrakis Euaggelos MD, PhD is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Aigaleo. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He collaborates with various private healthcare facilities in Athens, such as the Athens Medical Center, and was the first to introduce the technique of complete mesocolic excision (CME) for the surgical treatment of colon cancer in Greece. He has taught at the University of Düsseldorf in Germany and has worked for over 10 years in major surgical centers in Germany. Additionally, he developed his own techniques for the repair of inguinal hernias, umbilical hernias, and Spigelian hernias, which have been accepted by the European and global surgical communities. Voulgaris Sotiris is a General Surgeon with a private practice located in Ilisia. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and holds a postgraduate diploma in Minor Pelvic and Perineal Surgery from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in Surgical Oncology at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Ioanna Papadopoulou is a General Surgeon and maintains private practices in Cholargos and Glyfada. She performs exclusively laparoscopic surgery for benign and malignant conditions of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, gallbladder and bile ducts, as well as all types of abdominal wall hernias. She received her Medical Degree from the “Gr. T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iasi in 2012. Additionally, at the Sismanogleio General Hospital of Athens, she participated in a large volume of colon and thyroid cancer surgeries. Considering that the present of surgery lies in laparoscopic and robotic techniques, she attended advanced laparoscopic seminars organized by ELPEN under the auspices of the Hellenic Surgical Society from 2016 to 2018.

In 2021, she completed further training in Surgical Oncology, earning a Master of Science (MSc) degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Finally, in 2023, she received additional training in the latest methods for managing complex diaphragmatic hernias and reflux at the Symposium on Innovation in Surgery in Malta.

Ο Φιστόπουλος Ιωάννης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Παλαιό Φάληρο. Το 1988 γίνεται δεκτός μετά από εξετάσεις στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Cluz-Napoca στην Ρουμανία (U.M.F. Cluz-Napoca). Μετά την αποφοίτηση του το 1994, ακολουθεί μέσα από μια σειρά εξετάσεων η λήψη άδειας επαγγέλματος κ η λήψη του τίτλου Medicin Docteur (MD). Μετέπειτα, ξεκινά την εκπαίδευση του για την απόκτηση της ειδικότητος της χειρουργικής στο Γενικό Αντικαρκινικό Νοσοκομείο Πειραιά “Μεταξά”, στη Β΄ Χειρουργική Ογκολογική κλινική. Meropouli Antonia MD, PhDC is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Consultant Surgeon at Metropolitan Hospital, and a scientific associate at various other private hospitals. She graduated from the Medical School of the University of Patras. She specialized in General Surgery, specifically in diseases of the colon and small intestine, esophagus, stomach, liver, biliary tract, pancreas, obesity, thyroid disorders, as well as in the treatment of abdominal wall hernias both laparoscopically and via open surgery, at the 1st Surgical Clinic of the National and Kapodistrian University at the General Hospital of Athens "Laiko". Dr. Meropouli has participated in numerous seminars, conferences, and courses in Greece and abroad and has several publications to her name.

Dimitris Gkiouzelis, MD, PhD, is a General Surgeon and Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Athens. O Αθανάσιος Ξάκης γεννήθηκε στον Πολύγυρο Χαλκιδικής στις 22 Ιανουαρίου του 1994. Φοίτησε με αθλητική και ακολούθως μαθητική υποτροφία στο λύκειο των Εκπαιδευτηρίων Μαντουλίδη από όπου και τελικώς αποφοίτησε με άριστα το 2011. Κατά τη διάρκεια της μαθητικής του πορείας έλαβε αποδοχές και υποτροφίες για φοίτηση σε διακεκριμένα πανεπιστήμια των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών της Αμερικής και του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου. 

Σπούδασε Ιατρική στο Πανεπιστήμιο Ιωαννίνων. Κατά τη διάρκεια των σπουδών του υπήρξε μέλος του Εργαστηρίου Ανατομίας, υπεύθυνος για την εκπαίδευση και την ένταξη νέων φοιτητών ιατρικής καθώς επίσης συμμετείχε σε πληθώρα σεμιναρίων και παρουσιάσεων σε διεθνή συνέδρια. 

Μετά το πέρας των σπουδών του πραγματοποίησε Κλινική Άσκηση στη Χειρουργική στο Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada στην Yogyakarta της Ινδονησίας καθώς επίσης και Κλινική Άσκηση στην Αγγειοχειρουργική στο University Medical Centre Utrecht στην Ουτρέχτη της Ολλανδίας. 

Εργάστηκε ως ειδικευόμενος Χειρουργικής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Σερρών για 2 έτη και στη συνέχεια στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης Γ. Παπαγεωργίου για 4 έτη, από όπου και έλαβε τον τίτλο ειδικότητας. Κατά τη διάρκεια της ειδικότητας του συμμετείχε και σε πληθώρα χειρουργείων ως βοηθός χειρουργός του Τμήματος Χειρουργικής Ήπατος Χοληφόρων-Παγκρέατος της Κλινικής Άγιος Λουκάς, στο Πανόραμα Θεσσαλονίκης. 

Μετά την ολοκλήρωση της ειδικότητας μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στη Χειρουργική Ήπατος, Χοληφόρων, Παγκρέατος & Μεταμοσχεύσεων Ήπατος στο Organ Transplantation Center, China Medical University Hospital στην Taichung της Ταϊβάν. 

Από τον Αύγουστο του 2025 εργάζεται ως Επιμελητής Χειρουργός στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Θεσσαλονίκης Γ. Παπανικολάου ενώ παράλληλα αποτελεί Συνεργάτη Χειρουργό της Κλινικής Άγιος Λουκάς.

He specializes in Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery – Laparoscopic and Robotic – as well as in the Modern Treatment of Anorectal Disorders – Hemorrhoids and Pilonidal Sinus using Laser technology.

He holds a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Surgical Oncology from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.He has received specialization and certification in Laparoscopic Inguinal Hernia Repair with 3D Mesh (TEP and TAPP) from the Royal College of Surgeons, the Surgical Training Institute (STI), and the leading mesh company BD - Bard.

Drkokkalis Marios - Konstantinos MD, PhD, MSc(c) is a General Surgeon, specialized in Germany and a graduate of the Medical School of Thessaloniki. He has worked in Germany for a decade, where he served as Consultant and Head of the Abdominal Wall Hernia Department at the Surgical Clinic and Transplant Center of the University of Tübingen, where he also earned his PhD on Colorectal Cancer. Additionally, he is the Treasurer of the Hellenic Hernia Society.
