Επίσης, έχει πραγματοποιήσει μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στο πεδίο της Αθλητιατρικής (Sports Medicine) ενώ κατέχει και το Δίπλωμα "Ιατρικής Ποδοσφαίρου" της FIFA (Federation International de Football Association). Mixailidou - Xristopoulou Melia is an Orthopedic Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Kalamata. In 2004, she began her specialty in General Surgery at the 1st Surgical Department of the General Hospital of Serres, which she completed in 2005, and continued as an Orthopedic resident at the General Hospital of Serres. She participated in a large number of conferences, presenting papers at several of them, as well as attended numerous seminars of the AO Foundation, whose official representative in Greece is the Orthopedic Clinic of the University Hospital of Rio.
