Dr Liagkos Th Georgios MD, PhD is a General Surgeon - Proctologist, graduate of the Medical School of Patras, and has been awarded a PhD with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the Head of the 2nd Surgical Clinic for Anorectal Diseases at the Lumedica group and serves as a Scientific Collaborator Surgeon - Proctologist at Metropolitan Hospital in Neo Faliro and at Therapis in Athens. He is a certified member of the American College of Surgeons (ATLS - ACS Committee on Trauma) and an active member of the Hellenic Surgical Society, the Hellenic Society of Endoscopic Surgery and Other Minimally Invasive Techniques, the Hellenic Society of Coloproctology, and the Hellenic Phlebology Society. He has specialized in Anorectal Surgery and Intestinal Surgery at the General State Hospital of Nikaia and has received further training in Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery and Minimally Invasive Surgery for abdominal wall hernias. Additionally, he is certified in the use of modern laser fiber optics, radiofrequency (RF), and ultrasound (HAL) in the surgical management of anorectal diseases (pilonidal cyst, hemorrhoids, perianal fistula-abscess, anal fissure, condylomas). Annually, he lectures and participates with presentations at numerous postgraduate seminars and conferences abroad and in Greece, staying updated primarily on the latest advancements in proctology and minimally invasive surgery. Since 2017, he has served as a reviewer for the American surgical journal Trauma Cases and Reviews and in 2023 published the world’s first report with new data on the contemporary management of pilonidal cysts using laser with the new Infinate Ring fiber.

Kaloxristianakis Nikolaos is a General Surgeon and Director of the 6th Surgical Clinic at Errikos Dunant Hospital Center. He has specialization and extensive experience in advanced laparoscopic surgery of abdominal wall hernias and the digestive system (gallbladder, large and small intestine, stomach), as well as in diseases of the anus. He is a member of the Hellenic and European Societies of Endoscopic Surgery and the European Hernia Society (EHS) and maintains an active presence at international conferences in the field of Laparoscopic Surgery.

Vasileios Mermigkas is a General Surgeon with a private practice in Ilioupoli. He is a graduate and honored PhD of the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He completed his specialty in General Surgery at the Athens Children's General Hospital "Panagiotis & Aglaia Kyriakou" and at the Athens General Hospital "Laiko," where he was introduced to and trained in the then new technique of Laparoscopic surgery. He received additional training in this technique by attending advanced seminars both in Greece and abroad. Furthermore, he has valuable experience in endocrine gland surgery, oncological surgery of the gastrointestinal system, digestive system endoscopy, and vascular surgery. Finally, the doctor has participated in numerous research programs, presented their results at international conferences, and has published studies and articles in reputable Greek and international scientific journals.

Voulgaris Sotiris is a General Surgeon with a private practice located in Ilisia. He is a graduate of the Medical School of the University of Ioannina and holds a postgraduate diploma in Minor Pelvic and Perineal Surgery from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in Surgical Oncology at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is currently working as a Surgeon - Consultant at the Athens Medical Center.
