Dr Liagkos Th Georgios MD, PhD is a General Surgeon - Proctologist, graduate of the Medical School of Patras, and has been awarded a PhD with honors from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is the Head of the 2nd Surgical Clinic for Anorectal Diseases at the Lumedica group and serves as a Scientific Collaborator Surgeon - Proctologist at Metropolitan Hospital in Neo Faliro and at Therapis in Athens. Annually, he lectures and participates with presentations at numerous postgraduate seminars and conferences abroad and in Greece, staying updated primarily on the latest advancements in proctology and minimally invasive surgery. Since 2017, he has served as a reviewer for the American surgical journal Trauma Cases and Reviews and in 2023 published the world’s first report with new data on the contemporary management of pilonidal cysts using laser with the new Infinate Ring fiber.

Georgios Sarris MD, MSc, is a General Surgeon, Deputy Director of the 3rd Surgical Clinic at Errikos Dynan Hospital, with a private practice in Nea Erythraia. He has completed postgraduate studies in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). He further trained in minimally invasive management of anorectal diseases (Laser LHP, SiLaC, FiLaC) in Germany, as well as in Laparoscopic Surgery. He specialized in the 2nd Surgical Clinic of K.A.T. Xorti Aggeliki is a General Surgeon and maintains a private practice in Ano Toumba, Thessaloniki. She holds a PhD from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has completed a postgraduate degree in Biostatistics and Research Methodology at the University of Thessaly. Her medical degree was awarded by Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 2024, she has been working as a General Surgeon at the AHEPA University General Hospital of Thessaloniki and Euromedica Cyan Cross. Alivizatos Vasileios MD, PhD is a general surgeon, Doctor of Medicine from the Medical School of the University of Patras, and former Coordinating Director of the Surgical Clinic at the General Hospital of Patras "Saint Andrew," where he served for a total of 36 years as a specialized surgeon. During his career, he received advanced training in liver-biliary-pancreatic surgery in Bern, Switzerland; new hernia repair techniques in Mechelen, Belgium; and Artificial Nutrition (Parenteral, Enteral) in Manchester, United Kingdom. He has attended numerous advanced training seminars in the USA and has participated in 139 medical conferences (74 in Greece, 65 abroad, mainly Europe, USA, Asia), presenting scientific clinical studies as well as delivering lectures and talks upon invitation by medical societies. Επιμελητής στο Τμήμα Γενικής, Λαπαροσκοπικής, Ογκολογικής και Ρομποτικής Χειρουργικής στο Ιατρικό Κέντρο Αθηνών

Σπούδασε στην Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και μετά το πέρας των σπουδών του μετέβη απευθείας στο εξωτερικό και πραγματοποίησε το σύνολο της ειδικότητας της Χειρουργικής σε ένα από τα πλέον ιστορικά και ονομαστά Πανεπιστήμια της Γερμανίας, την Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική του «Philipps-University Marburg», που αποτελεί κορυφαίο κέντρο αναφοράς στη χειρουργική ενδοκρινών αδένων και νευροενδοκρινών όγκων. Το έντονο και διαρκώς αυξανόμενο επιστημονικό και ακαδημαϊκό ενδιαφέρον του, τον οδήγησε στην ολοκλήρωση της διδακτορικής του διατριβής το 2019 με θέμα «Evaluation of the safety of early drain removal after partial pancreaticoduodenectomy».

Μετά την απόκτηση της ειδικότητας της Γενικής και Σπλαχνικής Χειρουργικής, εργάστηκε αρχικά ως επιμελητής Β και στη συνέχεια ως επιμελητής Α και σε άλλες ονομαστές κλινικές της Γερμανίας, συμμετέχοντας και διενεργώντας και ο ίδιος πληθώρα επεμβάσεων που καλύπτουν όλο το φάσμα της γενικής χειρουργικής. Τα τελευταία χρόνια επικεντρώθηκε στη χειρουργική ενδοκρινών αδένων εργαζόμενος σε ονομαστά κέντρα αναφοράς της Γερμανίας, στο Essen υπό τη διεύθυνση του Prof. M. Walz και στη συνέχεια στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Marburg, όπου σε συνεργασία με την υπεύθυνη του τμήματος χειρουργικής ενδοκρινών αδένων και πρόεδρο της Πανγερμανικής Εταιρίας Χειρουργικής Ενδοκρινών Αδένων, Prof. K. Holzer, διαχειρίστηκαν και αντιμετώπισαν επί σειρά ετών ένα μεγάλο αριθμό περιστατικών, που αφορούσαν τόσο καλοήθεις όσο και κακοήθεις παθήσεις θυρεοειδούς, επινεφριδίων και παθήσεις των παραθυρεοειδών αδένων.

Παράλληλα με την εξειδίκευσή του στη χειρουργική ενδοκρινών αδένων, παρακολούθησε το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα του Αριστοτελείου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης, με αντικείμενο τη Στατιστική και Αναλυτική Βιοϊατρικών Δεδομένων (Health Statistics and Data Analytics), το οποίο και ολοκλήρωσε με άριστα, αποκτώντας τον τίτλο Master of Science (MSc). Το πλούσιο συγγραφικό του έργο και η απρόσκοπτη ενασχόληση του με την εκπαίδευση των φοιτητών της Πανεπιστημιακής Κλινικής Marburg άνοιξαν το δρόμο για την αναγόρευσή του σε Αναπληρωτή Καθηγητή (PD Dr. med.) στο Πανεπιστήμιο «Philipps-University Marburg». Συνεχίζει με υπευθυνότητα και αμείωτο ενθουσιασμό το ακαδημαϊκό του έργο στην Πανεπιστημιακή Κλινική Marburg, συμμετέχοντας στη διδασκαλία και την επίβλεψη διδακτορικών διατριβών των φοιτητών του Πανεπιστημίου.

Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πληθώρα πανευρωπαϊκών και πανγερμανικών συνεδρίων χειρουργικής ενδοκρινών αδένων και νευροενδοκρινών όγκων με παρουσιάσεις σε μορφή posters (ελεύθερων ανακοινώσεων) και ομιλιών, ενώ έχει βραβευτεί για το επιστημονικό του έργο από τη Γερμανική Εταιρία Χειρουργικής Ενδοκρινών Αδένων. Το συγγραφικό του έργο αριθμεί πάνω από 40 επιστημονικές δημοσιεύσεις στο PubMed σε μεγάλα διεθνή ιατρικά περιοδικά, πάνω από 890 βιβλιογραφικές αναφορές και ειδικό δείκτη παραπομπών (h-index) 15. Ως ενεργό μέλος της Ακαδημαϊκής Κοινότητας του Πανεπιστημίου του Marburg συνεχίζει το ακαδημαϊκό και ερευνητικό-επιστημονικό του έργο. Παράλληλα είναι τακτικό και ενεργό μέλος της Γερμανικής Εταιρίας Χειρουργικής Ενδοκρινών Αδένων, της Γερμανικής Εταιρίας Γενικής και Σπλαχνικής Χειρουργικής και μέλος του Συλλόγου Χειρουργών Γερμανίας. 

Xatzialis Xalint is a General Surgeon who maintains a private practice in Petroupoli.
