Είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών και έχει ολοκληρώσει διδακτορική διατριβή (PhD) στην Ιατρική Σχολή του ίδιου Πανεπιστημίου, με βαθμό Άριστα. Έχει εξειδικευτεί στην Επεμβατική Καρδιολογία, έχοντας πραγματοποιήσει εκπαίδευση στο Guy’s & St Thomas’s Hospital στο Λονδίνο, καθώς και σε νοσοκομειακά ιδρύματα της Ελλάδας, μεταξύ των οποίων ο ΓΝΑ «Ο Ευαγγελισμός» και το ΠΓΝΑ «Κοργιαλένειο-Μπενάκειο» ΕΕΣ.
