Ο Φιστόπουλος Ιωάννης είναι Γενικός Χειρουργός και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στο Παλαιό Φάληρο. Το 1988 γίνεται δεκτός μετά από εξετάσεις στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Cluz-Napoca στην Ρουμανία (U.M.F. He attended the European Advanced Level Course in Breast Disease Management for Surgeons in Athens and specialized in the treatment of breast diseases at the 6th Oncology Hospital "G. Gennimatas." Subsequently, he specialized in hernia surgery using dual mesh PHS & Prolene 3D Patch at Umberto I Hospital in Italy and also specialized in Minimally Invasive Operating Techniques in Colorectal Surgery. He has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics and has served for many years as the Director of the Surgical Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital. Currently, he works daily as a Surgeon – Laparoscopist – Breast Specialist (Consultant Surgeon) at the General and Maternity Hospital REA, one of the most modern hospitals in Greece. Finally, he has attended and participated in over 100 medical conferences in Greece and abroad.

Maria Mixailidou MD, FACS, FASCRS is a General Surgeon maintaining a private practice within the HYGEIA Hospital in Marousi. She studied at the Medical School of the University of Patras and continued her medical training in the USA. There, she conducted clinical research in the Department of Emergency Surgery, Trauma, and Critical Care at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, under Harvard University, and specialized in General Surgery at the University of Arizona. Additionally, she specialized in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Penn State University. She is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and by the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She possesses significant clinical experience having worked in clinics in the USA, as well as extensive scientific and research experience, reflected in numerous publications in international scientific journals and chapters she has authored in international surgical textbooks.
