Μείναμε πάρα πολύ ικανοποιημένοι,η κόρη μου φοβαται γενικά τον οδοντίατρο και η γιατρός το σεβάστηκε,με αποτέλεσμα να κάτσει ήρεμα η μικρή να κάνει καθαρισμό και να ελέγξει τα δόντια της.

Η γιατρός λειτουργεί παιδοκεντρικά διότι ανέπτυξε σχέση εμπιστοσύνης με το παιδί αφενός μέσω του περιβάλλοντος (παιχνίδια-χρώματα- video- δώρα) και αφετέρου μέσω της περιγραφής των εργαλείων , πράμα που είχε θετική επίδραση στη ψυχολογια και τη μείωση του άγχους του παιδιού. Άριστη!

Η γιατρός έδειξε την απαραίτητη υπομονή και κατανόηση απέναντι στον γιο μας, ο οποίος δεν είναι και ο πιο εύκολος ασθενής, καθώς ακόμη και η ιδέα μιας επίσκεψης στον γιατρό τού προκαλεί άγχος. Με την ήπια αλλά σταθερή επιμονή της, και κυρίως με τον τρόπο που τον προσέγγισε, τον βοήθησε ουσιαστικά να ξεπεράσει τους φόβους του και να συνεργαστεί, κάτι ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό για ένα παιδί στην ηλικία των 7 ετών.

Η γιατρός και η βοηθός ήταν πολύ ευγενικές, ωστόσο υπήρχε καθυστέρηση στα ραντεβού και νιώσαμε ότι υπήρχε πίεση χρόνου. Καθώς θέλαμε να γίνει η πρώτη επαφή της μικρής με οδοντίατρο ελπίζαμε η διάρκεια να ήταν μεγαλύτερη και να της εξηγήσει διάφορα πράγματα για τα δοντάκια της, πέρα από τον βασικό έλεγχο και τη φθορίωση που πραγματοποιήθηκε. Δεν είναι κάτι που δεν μπορεί να γίνει σε επόμενο ραντεβού, ωστόσο το είχαμε διαφορετικά στο μυαλό μας, έτσι ώστε να εξοικειωθεί η κόρη μας με την ιδέα του οδοντιατρείου.

Σας ευχαριστούμε πολύ για τα όμορφα λόγια σας και για την αναλυτική σας κριτική. Κατανοούμε απόλυτα την προσδοκία σας για μια πιο εκτενή πρώτη γνωριμία της μικρής με το οδοντιατρείο. Στην μικρή ηλικία όμως της κορουλας σας προτιμούμε η πρώτη επαφή να είναι σύντομη, ήπια και ευχάριστη, ώστε το παιδί να μην κουραστεί ή φορτιστεί. Η διάρκεια της επίσκεψης, επομένως, δεν καθορίστηκε από πίεση χρόνου, αλλά από την ηλικία ,τις ανάγκες και την ψυχολογία της μικρής εκείνη τη στιγμή. Στόχος μας είναι να χτίσουμε σταδιακά μια όμορφη και θετική σχέση με τον παιδοδοντίατρο, με κάθε επίσκεψη να προσαρμόζεται στον ρυθμό του κάθε παιδιού. Θα χαρούμε πολύ να συνεχίσουμε αυτή τη γνωριμία στο επόμενο ραντεβού!
