Dr Stamataki Sofia MD, MSc

Dr. Stamataki Sofia, MD, MSc, is an Otolaryngologist Surgeon, Director of the ENT Department at the Euroclinic Children’s Hospital, and maintains a private practice in Mavili Square. She holds a doctorate from the Medical School of the University of Crete and a postgraduate degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology from Panteion University, as well as a medical degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has completed pediatric ENT specializations through fellowships at the Children’s Hospital of Buffalo (USA) and Evelina Children’s Hospital (UK). Notably, Dr. Stamataki has served as Scientific Director at the ENT Clinic of the “Agia Sofia” Children’s Hospital and as Consultant at the General Children’s Hospital of Athens "Panagiotis and Aglaia Kyriakou." She has also worked as a Consultant at the “MITERA” Hospital and held a funded research position at Johns Hopkins University in the USA. She has an extensive scientific portfolio, regularly participates in conferences, and is a member of prominent medical associations such as the Athens Medical Association, the British Medical Council, the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and the European Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. She has served as Treasurer of the Hellenic Pediatric ENT Society and is an active member of the Hellenic and European Rhinology Societies.
