Giannoulis Dimitrios MD, MSc, FEBO, PhDc

Giannoulis Dimitrios MD, MSc, FEBO, PhDc is an Ophthalmologist maintaining a private practice in Kalamaria. He completed the first year of his specialization at Trikala Hospital and continued his training at the 1st Ophthalmology Clinic of AUTH at AHEPA University Hospital. In 2019, he successfully passed the examinations for the European Board of Ophthalmology diploma in Paris, earning the title of Fellow of the European Board of Ophthalmology (FEBO). He is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of AUTH and holds a master's degree from the Medical School of the University of Thessaly, specializing in Biomedical Research Methodology, Biostatistics, and Clinical Bioinformatics. He has specialized in Glaucoma by successfully completing the Postgraduate Fellowship Program at the 1st Ophthalmology Clinic of AUTH under the supervision of Professor Fotis Topouzis. He is a scientific collaborator of the 1st Ophthalmology Clinic of AUTH, responsible for the clinical management of numerous cases and actively participating in various surgical procedures. He has contributed to research projects and the authorship of articles published in international scientific journals, as well as foreign-language books in the field of Ophthalmology. Additionally, he has participated as a speaker in Greek and international conferences. He is a member of the European Glaucoma Society (EGS), actively involved in its scientific committees. He is also a member of the Ophthalmological Society of Northern Greece, the Hellenic Society of Intraocular Lens and Refractive Surgery, and the European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA).
