Dr Nikolaos I. Dervenis, Ophthalmic Surgeon, operates professionally in Thessaloniki and Larissa, Greece. He succeeded through Panhellenic Exams at the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, from where he graduated. He then specialized in Ophthalmology in Greece and the UK. After receiving the specialty title, he received additional training for several years in the UK where he held, among others, the title of the Consultant of the National Health System (NHS). He holds a PhD from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and served for two years as an Academic Scholar of the First University Ophthalmology Clinic at AHEPA Hospital where he was in charge, among others, of the Macular, Vitreous and Retina service.
