Zisimopoulou Vaso MD, MBA

Neurologist Zisimopoulou Vaso is a Military Physician (retired), graduate of the Military School of Corps Officers and Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She specialized in the Neurology Department of the General Hospital of Athens "Evangelismos" and received further training in the Neurointensive Care Unit (NICU) at Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan, USA. She also holds a Master's degree in Business Administration, MBA, from the Athens University of Economics and Business. She worked as an Attending Neurologist at the Neurology Department of the 251 Air Force General Hospital until 2022 and collaborates with the private clinic EUROCLINIC Athens. At EUROCLINIC Athens, she holds the position of Director of the Neurology Department, where, with a close team of collaborators, she manages cases such as acute strokes requiring inpatient monitoring and care. She is responsible for the organization and operation of the Stroke Unit, certified for its high-quality delivery of treatment and patient monitoring by the European Stroke Organization as an "ESO Certified Stroke Unit." She founded and has been directing the medical company NeuroLife since 2017, aiming to provide specialized neurology medical services in collaboration with distinguished partners and significant corporate partnerships. Her particular scientific interests include: Cerebrovascular Stroke, Migraine and other headaches, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, Autoimmune diseases, and Paraneoplastic manifestations of the nervous system.
