Tyfoksylou Ernestini MD, PhDc

Tyfoksylou Ernestini, MD, PhD(c), is an Endocrinologist - Diabetologist and maintains a private practice on Panormou Street, in the Ampelokipoi area. She is a PhD candidate at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She holds a medical degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and is a graduate of the Military School of Corps Officers (S.S.A.S.). She specialized in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology Unit and Metabolism and Diabetes Center at the General Hospital of Athens "G. Gennimatas" and at the 1st Department of Internal Medicine and Oncology Clinic of the 401 General Military Hospital of Athens. During her specialization, she received training in Pediatric Endocrinology cases at the Growth and Development Endocrinology Department of the "Pan. & Aglaia Kyriakou" Children's Hospital, in managing Endocrinopathies and Diabetes during Pregnancy at the Endocrinology Department of the "Elena Venizelou" Hospital - Maternity Clinic, and in the Climacteric and Menopause Department at the 2nd Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic of the University of Athens. She has extensive research activity with published original papers in international medical journals (PubMed), presentations, and awards at Greek and international conferences, continuously following new scientific data and developments in the field of Endocrinology as part of ongoing professional development. She is a member of the Hellenic Endocrine Society, the European Society of Endocrinology (ESE), and the Endocrine Society (ES).
