Στα πλαίσια της εξειδίκευσής του διερευνούνται και αντιμετωπίζονται επίσης διαφόρων τύπων αρρυθμιολογικές παθήσεις και διενεργούνται πιο ειδικές πράξεις όπως έλεγχος και προγραμματισμός βηματοδοτών, loop recorders και απινιδωτών. Λοιποί έλεγχοι, όπως τεστ κοπώσεως, stress echo, σπινθηρογράφημα μυοκαρδίου, μαγνητική καρδιάς, κ.α. που απαιτούν ειδικό τεχνικό και ελεγχόμενο περιβάλλον και συνήθως χρησιμεύουν στη διερεύνηση αρρυθμιολογικών παθήσεων διενεργούνται στις προαναφερθείσες συνεργαζόμενες κλινικές, ή κατ' επιλογή του ασθενούς.
