Kaparaki Irene

Kaparaki Eirini is a graduate of the Psychology Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She subsequently pursued her postgraduate studies at the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program "Clinical Interventions in Addictions" at the University of Crete, obtaining the title of Clinical Psychologist specializing in Addictions. Simultaneously, she began and completed training in Narrative Psychotherapy at the Institute of Narrative Psychotherapy and Community Practice in collaboration with the Dulwich Centre in Australia, earning the title of Certified Narrative Psychotherapist. Her current research interests focus on issues related to socially excluded groups (elderly, individuals facing addiction issues, LGBTQi+) emphasizing the unique texture of the experiences of these specific populations. She has participated in seminars and conferences at national and European levels, while also volunteering with NGOs and initiatives (Checkpoint, Psychiatric Clinic of Chania, Social Grocery of Kyttaros Chalepa, Greenwave, etc.). She has worked in both public and private institutions and now maintains a private practice in Chania, offering in-person and online sessions to adults and adolescents. During sessions, she utilizes a holistic therapeutic model tailored to the specific needs of each individual and guided by respect for the wishes of each person. She organizes and facilitates experiential workshops with various groups on issues of concern in collaboration with other specialized professionals.
