Siozos Athanasios MRCOG

Siozos Athanasios MRCOG is a Gynecologist - Obstetrician with a private practice in Kozani. He graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he was admitted first in the nationwide entrance exams in 1995. He specializes in infertility and prenatal screening and trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology in the United Kingdom, where he remained for a total of 10 years and worked in several major hospitals of the country. Since 2007, after examinations, he is an official member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of the United Kingdom, from which he holds a recognized diploma of full training in infertility and reproductive endocrinology, following further training at London's most renowned hospital, Guy’s & St. Thomas’ Hospital. In fact, at the same hospital, he trained in painless hysterosalpingography or ultrasound hysterosalpingography. Additionally, he holds certifications for performing obstetric ultrasounds from the Fetal Medicine Foundation after training at King’s College Hospital in London. He is also a member of British and European medical associations and has attended over 100 educational seminars and conferences covering the full spectrum of his specialty, aiming for continuous education and professional development in his field. Finally, he is the Scientific Director of the website gonimotita.gr and the magazine Go by Gonimotita, which provide information to infertile couples on relevant issues.
