Christina Pagkaki, MD, MSc, PhD(c) is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a particular clinical and academic interest in Urogynaecology, Pelvic Floor Medicine and Minimally Invasive Gynaecological Surgery**.

She currently works at the University General Hospital of Alexandroupolis, Greece, as a Consultant and has undertaken advanced training in Urogynaecology in the United Kingdom at Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust, London, where she gained extensive clinical and surgical experience in the assessment and management of female urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic floor disorders.

During her training in the UK, she developed particular expertise in urodynamic investigations, cystoscopy, the conservative and surgical management of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, pessary care, and the assessment of women with postpartum perineal and pelvic floor disorders.

She has also undertaken training in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, with experience in laparoscopic procedures and contemporary surgical techniques, including . She has participated in specialised international training programmes in laparoscopic and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

In her gynaecological practice, she provides comprehensive preventive and general gynaecological care, including cervical screening, investigation of cervical abnormalities and colposcopy, as well as counselling and management regarding contraception, menstrual disorders and other common gynaecological conditions.

She has a particular interest in the care of women during the perimenopause and menopause. She has completed the educational programme of the British Menopause Society (BMS) and has been awarded the Management of the Menopause Certificate, providing evidence-based assessment and management of menopausal symptoms, including individualised counselling regarding Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).

In addition, she holds a Professional Certificate in Sex Therapy from the London School of Business and Administration, complementing her gynaecological practice with counselling in sexual health and sexual function.

Dr Pagkaki provides care for women throughout all stages of life. Her clinical practice encompasses Obstetrics and pregnancy care, general Gynaecology, colposcopy, contraception, menopause care, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, urodynamic testing, injectable therapies of Aesthetic gynaexology and pelvic floor disorders.
