His research work, focused on pathophysiology/molecular biology in obstructive airways disease (asthma and COPD), lung injury and sepsis, published in international peer-reviewed journals and awarded by the Greek and European Respiratory Society.

Karipi Christina is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis Specialist and maintains a private practice in Nea Smyrni. She completed her medical studies at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She specialized in Pulmonology - Tuberculosis at the 4th Pulmonology Clinic of the Thoracic Diseases Hospital "Sotiria".
