Η Βασιλική Μπέσα MD, PhD είναι απόφοιτος της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (2007) και Διδάκτωρ της ίδιας σχολής, με διδακτορική διατριβή με θέμα την Χρόνια Αποφρακτική Πνευμονοπάθεια (2014). Διαθέτει εκτενή εκπαίδευση και πολυετή εμπειρία στην Πνευμονολογία – Φυματιολογία, έχοντας ολοκληρώσει την ειδικότητά της στην Πνευμονολογική Κλινική του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ruhrlandklinik, University Medicine Essen στη Γερμανία (2009–2015).

Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκπαίδευσής της εξειδικεύτηκε σε σύγχρονους τομείς της Πνευμονολογίας, όπως οι διάμεσες πνευμονοπάθειες και τα σπάνια νοσήματα, η επεμβατική πνευμονολογία με σημαντική εμπειρία σε βρογχοσκοπήσεις, καθώς και η διαχείριση ασθενών με κυστική ίνωση και η μεταμόσχευση πνεύμονα. Το 2015 απέκτησε τον τίτλο ειδικότητας Εσωτερικής Παθολογίας και Πνευμονολογίας, ενώ το 2021 έλαβε και τίτλο εξειδίκευσης στην Ιατρική της Μεταμόσχευσης – Μεταμόσχευση Πνεύμονα.

Από το 2015 έως το 2023 διετέλεσε Senior Consultant και επικεφαλής του Πνευμονολογικού Τμήματος Μεταμόσχευσης Πνεύμονα στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Ruhrlandklinik στη Γερμανία, αποκτώντας υψηλού επιπέδου κλινική εμπειρία στη διαχείριση σύνθετων περιστατικών. Παράλληλα, έχει ενεργή συμμετοχή στην επιστημονική έρευνα με πολυάριθμες δημοσιεύσεις, παρουσιάσεις σε ευρωπαϊκά και διεθνή συνέδρια, καθώς και συμμετοχή σε κλινικές μελέτες και στη διαμόρφωση κατευθυντήριων οδηγιών για την παρακολούθηση ασθενών μετά από μεταμόσχευση πνεύμονα.

Σήμερα υπηρετεί ως Επιμελήτρια Α’ στην 5η Κλινική του Γ.Ν.Ν.Θ.Α. «Η Σωτηρία» (από 02/2024), συνεχίζοντας να προσφέρει υψηλού επιπέδου ιατρικές υπηρεσίες με επίκεντρο τον ασθενή.

Με επιστημονική κατάρτιση, διεθνή εμπειρία και ανθρώπινη προσέγγιση, η ιατρός παρέχει ολοκληρωμένη φροντίδα για ένα ευρύ φάσμα παθήσεων του αναπνευστικού συστήματος.

Ο Φίλιππος Εμμανουήλ έλαβε το πτυχίο ιατρικής από την 3η Ιατρική σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Καρόλου στην Πράγα.Ολοκλήρωσε την ειδικότητα του στην πνευμονολογία στην Α’ πνευμονολογική κλινική του Εθνικού και Καποδιστριακού πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών (ΕΚΠΑ), στο γενικό νοσοκομείο θώρακος Αθηνών « η Σωτηρία».Εξειδικεύτηκε στην επεμβατική πνευμονολογία στη μονάδα επεμβατικής πνευμονολογίας της ιδίας κλινικής, υπό την καθοδήγηση του Καθηγητή Γ. Στρατάκου και στο πανεπιστημιακό νοσοκομείο Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria & Ospedali Riuniti& στην Ancona, Ιταλία με τον Καθηγητή Stefano Gasparini. Συνεργάζεται στενά με τη μονάδα επεμβατικής πνευμονολογίας της Α’ ΠΠ ΕΚΠΑ σε ελληνικά και ευρωπαϊκά επιστημονικά και εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα.Έχει συμμετάσχει σε δεκάδες πολυκεντρικές μελέτες στην ογκολογία πνεύμονα, λοιμώξειςαναπνευστικού, βρογχικό άσθμα και ΧΑΠ. Έχει λάβει 6 επαίνους και βραβεία από την Ελληνική Πνευμονολογική Εταιρία (ΕΠΕ) για την ερευνητική του δραστηριότητα. Είναι υποψήφιος διδάκτωρ Εθνικού Καποδιστριακού Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών με αντικείμενο έρευνας στους προγνωστικούς δείκτες του σοβαρού βρογχικού άσθματος.Συμμετέχει ενεργά με ομιλίες και ανακοινώσεις για την επεμβατική πνευμονολογία καθώς και σε σεμινάρια επεμβατικής πνευμονολογίας ως εκπαιδευτής σε εθνικό αλλά καιευρωπαϊκό επίπεδο.Έχει 6 δημοσιεύσεις σε διεθνή περιοδικά με δεκάδες ετεροαναφορές (citations).Διατέλεσε συντονιστής της ομάδας εργασίας επεμβατικής πνευμονολογίας της ΕΠΕ για την περίοδο 2018-2020.Επί σειρά ετών διατέλεσε μέλος και κατόπιν πρόεδρος της επιτροπής εκπαιδευτικών διαδικτυακών δραστηριοτήτων της World Association for Interventional Pulmonology and Bronchoscopy (WABIP), ενώ υπηρετεί ως εθνικός αντιπρόσωπος της WABIP.Επί 3 έτη ήταν εκπρόσωπος (National delegate) της Ελλάδας στην Ευρωπαϊκή εταιρία επεμβατικής πνευμονολογίας (EABIP).Είναι ιδρυτικό μέλος της Μη κερδοσκοπικής Εταιρίας Εκπαίδευσης στην Επεμβατική Πνευμονολογία (HTA-IP) η οποία αποσκοπεί στη στήριξη εκπαιδευτικών προγραμμάτων στην επεμβατική πνευμονολογία.Εργάζεται ως επιστημονικός υπεύθυνος της πνευμονολογικής κλινικής στο Mediterraneohospital στη Γλυφάδα όπου έχει αναπτυχθεί ιατρείο σοβαρού άσθματος και διαμέσων πνευμονοπαθειών καθώς και ένα πλήρες βρογχοσκοπικό εργαστήριο με δυνατότητες ενδοβρογχικού υπερήχου, virtual bronchoscopy και βρογχοσκόπησης σε υβριδικό τομογράφο (cone beam CT).Διατηρεί ιατρείο στη Γλυφάδα και τα Βριλήσσια όπου δίδεται η δυνατότητα σπιρομέτρησης και θωρακικού υπερήχου.

Kosmas Epameinondas MD, PhD, FCCP is a Pulmonologist - Tuberculosis Specialist and maintains a private practice in the Ampelokipoi area.
