Το επιστημονικό του ενδιαφέρον επικεντρώνεται στην ασφάλεια της χειρουργικής της σπονδυλικής στήλης, στην πρόληψη επιπλοκών και λοιμώξεων, στη χειρουργική εκπαίδευση, καθώς και στην αξιοποίηση καινοτόμων τεχνολογιών, όπως η τρισδιάστατη εκτύπωση και οι τεχνικές μείωσης της ακτινοβολίας στη χειρουργική της σκολίωσης και της κύφωσης σε συνδυασμό με ελάχιστα επεμβατικές τεχνικες. Είναι διδάκτωρ της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Goethe University Frankfurt και διαθέτει πρόσθετες πιστοποιήσεις στην Ειδική Ορθοπαιδική Χειρουργική, στη Χειροθεραπεία / Χειροπρακτική, καθώς και στην Οστεολογία για την αντιμετώπιση της οστεοπόρωσης και των μεταβολικών παθήσεων των οστών. Παράλληλα, συμμετέχει ενεργά στην εκπαίδευση νέων ιατρών και φοιτητών και έχει έντονη διεθνή επιστημονική παρουσία μέσα από δημοσιεύσεις και ομιλίες σε κορυφαία συνέδρια. Η ιατρική του προσέγγιση βασίζεται στην επιστημονική ακρίβεια, στην εξατομικευμένη αξιολόγηση και στη διαμόρφωση της πλέον κατάλληλης θεραπευτικής στρατηγικής για κάθε ασθενή, με στόχο την αποκατάσταση της λειτουργικότητας, τη βελτίωση της ποιότητας ζωής και την παροχή φροντίδας υψηλού επιπέδου.
