Παράλληλα, στο πλαίσιο της μετεκπαίδευσής του και της εκεί ερευνητικής του δραστηριότητας, ανακηρύχτηκε το 2021 Διδάκτορας της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου της Ζυρίχης.
