She has served as a Consultant with specialization in Retinal Pathology at the Royal Victoria Infirmary, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK, and at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Furthermore, during 2022-23, she served as Director of the Retinal Pathology Department at the Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust, UK. Today, in her private clinic, she offers a wide range of services, respecting the individual needs of each patient.

Gakis Georgios is an Ophthalmic Surgeon and operates a private clinic in Nea Ionia. He specialized in Ophthalmology at the 2nd University Clinic of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki at the General Hospital "Papageorgiou." He received further training at the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre at the University Hospital of Southampton and at King’s College Hospital, specializing in eyelid and lacrimal apparatus surgery. Εξειδικεύθηκε στη διάγνωση και τη θεραπεία της Ραγοειδίτιδας και του Γλαυκώματος και στη Χειρουργική του υαλοειδούς στις ΗΠΑ και Ολλανδία. Είναι διδάκτωρ του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης από το 2010. Εργάστηκε ως επιμελήτρια στο Πανεπιστημιακό Νοσοκομείο Κρήτης (2003 - 2012) και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών Γ. Γενηματάς (2012 - 2017). Μαζί με τον Ζαχαρόπουλο Ιωάννη ίδρυσαν το 2018 το οφθαλμολογικό κέντρο I See Center . Στο I See Center πραγματοποιούνται όλες οι απαραίτητες για τη διάγνωση των οφθαλμικών παθήσεων εξετάσεις (OCT, OCT-Αγγειογραφία, Οπτικά Πεδία Humphrey, Κερατογραφία, Παχυμετρία κερατοειδούς, Τοπογραφία κερατοειδούς, Μελέτη της οφθαλμικής επιφάνειας και ξηροφθαλμίας, φωτογραφία βυθού και προσθίων μορίων) ενώ παράλληλα εκτελούνται και επεμβάσεις φωτοπηξίας με Yag και Argon Laser.

Follidi Vasiliki is an Ophthalmologist - Pediatric Ophthalmologist with a private practice located in Mavili Square. She studied at the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. At the same institution, she completed postgraduate studies in "Medical Genetics: Clinical and Laboratory Direction." She specialized in Surgical Ophthalmology - Pediatric Ophthalmology at the "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital in Athens, gaining invaluable experience in both specialized pediatric ophthalmological examinations and the surgical correction of pediatric ophthalmologic disorders. From 2012 to 2014, she also practiced monitoring and managing retinopathy of prematurity in premature infants in the neonatal units of the same pediatric hospital. Furthermore, she continued her specialization in Adult Ophthalmology at the "Hippokration" General Hospital of Athens. She has served as the Consultant of the Ophthalmology Department at the Euroclinic Children's Hospital in Athens. Additionally, from 2012 to 2016, she collaborated with the "Athens General Clinic," supporting the management of pediatric ophthalmologic conditions in neonates, infants, and children. Since 2014, she has been the Consultant for the pediatric ophthalmology department at the Pediatric Hospital of the Athens Medical Center group and the "Gaia" maternity hospital. From 2016 to the present, she has been an elected member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus and the Hellenic Ophthalmological Society. The majority of her presentations and lectures at ophthalmology conferences, as well as her publications in Greek and international medical journals, primarily concern pediatric ophthalmology topics. Finally, she has participated in translations of English-language ophthalmology texts into Greek.
