Εκπαιδεύτηκε στο Ναυτικό Νοσοκομείο Αθηνών, στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Αθηνών «Παναγιώτη & Αγλαΐας Κυριακού» και στο Πανεπιστημιακό Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Πατρών, όπου πραγματοποίησε επεμβάσεις καταρράκτη, χειρουργεία στραβισμού σε παιδιά, καθώς και εξειδικευμένες παιδοοφθαλμολογικές επεμβάσεις.

Σήμερα εργάζεται ως Επιμελητής Οφθαλμίατρος στο Κέντρο Υγείας Σαλαμίνας και στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Παίδων Αθηνών «Παναγιώτη & Αγλαΐας Κυριακού», ενώ έχει αποκτήσει και διεθνή εμπειρία στο Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals του NHS στη Μεγάλη Βρετανία.

Παράλληλα συνεργάζεται με ιδιωτικές κλινικές της Αθήνας, πραγματοποιώντας επεμβάσεις καταρράκτη και διαθλαστικής χειρουργικής.

Η ιδιαίτερη εξειδίκευσή του στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία περιλαμβάνει την αντιμετώπιση στραβισμού, αμβλυωπίας και άλλων διαταραχών της παιδικής όρασης.

Στο πλαίσιο της διδακτορικής του διατριβής ασχολήθηκε για αρκετά χρόνια με τις παθήσεις της ωχράς κηλίδας σε ενήλικες, μελετώντας την κλινική πορεία των ασθενών, εφαρμόζοντας ενδοϋαλοειδικές ενέσεις και παρακολουθώντας τα θεραπευτικά αποτελέσματα.

Η κλινική και χειρουργική του δραστηριότητα επικεντρώνεται σήμερα στη χειρουργική καταρράκτη, στην παιδοοφθαλμολογία, καθώς και στις σύγχρονες θεραπείες παθήσεων της ωχράς κηλίδας.

Ο Λιόλιος Βασίλειος είναι Χειρουργός Οφθαλμίατρος και διατηρεί ιδιωτικό ιατρείο στους Αμπελόκηπους. Αποφοίτησε από την ιατρική σχολή του Αριστοτέλειου Πανεπιστημίου Θεσσαλονίκης και το 2008 ξεκίνησε να εργάζεται ως ειδικευόμενος οφθαλμολογίας στο Wirral Teaching Hospital στο Liverpool και μετέπειτα και σε άλλα δημόσια πανεπιστημιακά νοσοκομεία της Μεγάλης Βρετανίας ως και το 2013, όταν και έλαβε τον Τίτλο Ειδικότητας Οφθαλμολογίας. Το ίδιο χρονικό διάστημα ολοκλήρωσε και την εξειδίκευση του στην Παθολογία Αμφιβληστροειδούς και τις Ραγοειδίτιδες (ενδοφθάλμιες φλεγμονές) - Medical Retina and Uveitis Fellowship- στα νοσοκομεία Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Τrust και Western Eye Hospital του Λονδίνου, δίπλα στον καθηγητή Miles Stanford. Κατά την επιστροφή του από την Μεγάλη Βρετανία το 2017, προσέφερε για ένα χρονικό διάστημα τις υπηρεσίες του ως εθελοντής οφθαλμίατρος στην μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση PRAKSIS στη Θεσσαλονίκη εξετάζοντας ευάλωτες ομάδες ασθενών με δυσκολία πρόσβασης στις υπηρεσίες υγείας. Τα τελευταία επτά χρόνια εργάστηκε ως επιμελητής στο Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Νέας Ιωνίας «Κωνσταντοπούλειο -Πατησίων» υπεύθυνος ιατρείου βυθού και οφθαλμικών φλεγμονών. Ο ιατρός έχει περάσει τις ακόλουθες εξετάσεις του Βασιλικού Κολεγίου των Οφθαλμιάτρων του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου: FRCOphth Part I , Refraction Certificate και γραπτές εξετάσεις FRCOphth Part II . Paraskeuopoulos Theodoros is a Surgeon Ophthalmologist with a private practice in Agios Dimitrios.
