Διετέλεσε Επιμελητής Α’ στην Κλινική Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας - Χειρουργικής Κεφαλής & Τραχήλου του φημισμένου Prosper Hospital Γερμανίας. Οι επιστημονικές εργασίες του έχουν δημοσιευτεί στην διεθνή βιβλιογραφία. Στο διδακτικό του έργο περιλαμβάνεται η δραστηριότητά του ως εισηγητής στο προκλινικό μάθημα κλινικής εξέτασης της Ωτορινολαρυγγολογίας για τους Φοιτητές Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημίου Duisburg-Essen της Γερμανίας. Giopanou Maria is a Pediatric Otorhinolaryngologist with a private practice in Ampelokipoi.
