Tsounis Mixail MD, PhD is a Military Physician - Surgeon, Otolaryngologist, and Director of the Functional and Reconstructive Rhinoplasty Department at "Leto" Hospital, with a private practice in Ambelokipoi. He is a graduate and holds a doctorate from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He completed advanced training over several years in rhinoplasty and endoscopic surgery of the nose, paranasal sinuses, and skull base at Charing Cross Hospital of Imperial College of Medicine in London, Queen’s Medical Center of the University of Nottingham, and the Academic Medical Center of the University of Amsterdam. Concurrently, he performed a large number of surgeries and gained clinical experience with a wide range of adult and pediatric otolaryngology cases.

He conducts comprehensive examinations using flexible and rigid video endoscopes, evaluates snoring and apnea, otomicroscopy, audiometry, tympanometry, and assessment of vertigo and tinnitus.
