Dr. Totlis Tryfon is an Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist, PhD holder, and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He holds a Scholarship of Excellence from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and has been awarded 7 scholarships/training fellowships in Greece and abroad, including at Rush University Hospital in Chicago, USA, and St. Anna Hospital in Herne, Germany. At these clinics, he specialized in arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder, and ankle, as well as joint replacement with prostheses (arthroplasty). He has an extensive scientific portfolio, having authored more than 270 studies and 90 scientific articles in Greek and international journals and is frequently invited as a speaker for lectures both in Greece and internationally. He is a member of the board of directors of the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery & Arthroscopy (ESSKA/EKA), vice president of the Hellenic Society for the Study of Regenerative Medicine, and a board member of the Hellenic Sports Medicine Society, as well as an active member of other international and national scientific societies. He was part of the medical team of the football club PAOK FC in the Superleague from 2016 to 2019 and serves as a consulting orthopedic surgeon for numerous teams across various sports and levels. He maintains his scientific office at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and sees patients at the TheMIS Orthopedic Center in Kalamaria, at his private practice in Edessa, and at the specialized Orthopedic Regenerative Medicine Clinic at the "Agios Loukas" Clinic in Panorama, Thessaloniki. Dr Penteridis Ioannis is an Orthopedic Surgeon and Pediatric Orthopedist, maintaining a private practice in Oraiokastro. He holds a PhD in Medicine from the "Victor Babes" Medical University. Papoutsis Konstantinos MD, FEBOT, FRCS (Tr&Orth) is a Military Physician, Orthopedic Surgeon, Traumatologist, and maintains a private practice in Panormou. He is a Consultant at the Orthopedic Clinic of the Naval Hospital of Athens. He graduated from the Medical Department of the Military School of Corps Officers and holds a degree from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He trained in both surgical and non-surgical management of the full spectrum of orthopedic conditions initially at the Naval Hospital of Athens and subsequently in London, where he spent a total of six years. He completed his specialty training in Orthopedic Traumatology, earning fellowships from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology following specialized examinations. He has specialized in recognized centers in London in Adult Hip and Knee Reconstructive Surgery, management of Hip disorders in Young Adults, and is among the few surgeons in Greece specialized in Trauma Surgery, Fractures, and Pelvic Ring (Pelvis) and Acetabulum Pathologies. Hip and Knee Arthroplasty using the latest minimally invasive, bloodless techniques and fast recovery protocols, revision of painful arthroplasty, arthroscopic surgery of the hip, knee, and shoulder, ligament reconstruction, sports injuries, and fracture surgery are some of the procedures he frequently performs. He is committed to providing high-level healthcare services modeled on the standards of the United Kingdom's health system, with respect for the patient's individuality and dignity. Dr. Tsapakidis Giannis was born in Larisa in 1975 and graduated from the Medical School of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2000. He completed his Orthopedic specialty residency at Tzaneio General Hospital of Piraeus, with part of his training conducted at KAT Hospital and Charing Cross Hospital in London. He received a scholarship from AO and worked as a Fellow at the Sports Injuries and Trauma Center of Queens Medical Centre University Hospital in Nottingham. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Athens and a member of AO ALUMNI. Since 2006, he has served as the team physician for the women's basketball team “ESPERIDES” Kallithea (Women’s A1 Basketball Champion for 2006-07 and 2008-09 and Greek Cup Winner for 2005-06, 2006-07, 2007-08, and 2008-09). From 2015 to 2018, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic concerns for the athletes of KAE AEK. Since 2013, he has provided medical coverage for the basketball team PROTEAS VOULAS and from 2015 to 2025 served as the medical provider for the athletes of the basketball team KAE AMAROUSIOU. From 2021 to 2023, he was the team physician for the WOMEN'S NATIONAL BASKETBALL TEAM, and from 2022 to 2024 for the team of PANIONIOS B.C. Previously, he was part of the medical team covering orthopedic needs of the athletes of KAE PANELLINIOS from 2008 to 2011 and the Cultural and Sports Center “DAIS.” Subsequently, from 2018 to 2022, he provided medical coverage to the athletes of MELLISION and since 2018 to the athletes of ESPEROS B.C. Finally, starting this year, he has been the medical provider for the amateur club PANATHINAIKOS A.O. He has attended specialized seminars/workshops in Traumatology, Microsurgery, and Arthroscopic Surgery both in Greece and abroad.
