Vasilakis Aleksandros is an Orthopedic Surgeon with a private practice in Cholargos. Simultaneously, he serves as a Consultant in the Orthopedic Clinic at Metropolitan Hospital in N. Faliro. He graduated from the Medical School of Democritus University of Thrace and holds a Master’s degree (MSc) in "Metabolic Bone Diseases - Osteoporosis" from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. From 2019 to 2022, he held the position of Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon in the Orthopedic Clinic at Asklipieio Voulas General Hospital, after which he has been providing his services in the private sector.
He manages the treatment of conditions across the entire spectrum of Orthopedics, with particular interest in hip and knee arthroplasty, reconstructive surgery of foot disorders, and percutaneous minimally invasive reconstructive surgery of hallux valgus (bunion). He is also specialized in Arthroscopic Surgery of sports injuries and has further specialized in Hand Surgery - Microsurgery at KAT General Hospital and Asklipieio Voulas General Hospital.
Dr. Vasilakis has participated in numerous national and international conferences, educational seminars, and courses on newer techniques, and has a scientific record with publications in international journals. He is a member of the Hellenic Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, the Hellenic Arthroscopy Society, the Athens Medical Association, and the General Medical Council of the United Kingdom.
