Polyxronakis Nikos is a Mental Health Counselor - Psychotherapist, maintaining his private practice in Kifissia, while also seeing patients in a private setting in the Cholargos area. He earned his degree in Person-Centered Counseling Psychology from the Department of Counseling at the University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. Subsequently, he obtained a Master's diploma from the same university in Counseling (MSc in Person Centered Counselling) with a primary focus on the experience of fatherhood (Fathers’ Perception of Their Role in Fatherhood: The effects of Counselling. An interpretative phenomenological analysis). Alongside his four-year counseling and psychotherapeutic training, he attended specialized seminars and educational programs in areas such as Clinical Psychopathology, Positive Parenting, and Nonviolent Communication. Additionally, he has been trained and is a certified parent trainer for Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) workshops by Gordon Training International (GTI), while concurrently serving as an official collaborator of Attachment Parenting Hellas.
