Παράλληλα, παρακολουθεί σε τακτική βάση επιμορφωτικά σεμινάρια με επίκεντρο την ψυχαναλυτική ψυχοθεραπεία, τα οποία λειτουργούν για εκείνον ως χώρος στοχασμού και εμβάθυνσης στις ασυνείδητες πτυχές της ψυχικής λειτουργίας. Η ψυχαναλυτική σκέψη παραμένει για τον ίδιο θεμέλιο στη ψυχοθεραπευτική προσέγγιση, προσφέροντας γλώσσα και εργαλείο για την κατανόηση της ενδοψυχικής ζωής, της επανάληψης, της επιθυμίας και του τραύματος.

Η συνθετική οπτική που προσφέρεται από τη διαρκής του επιμόρφωση στα δυο αυτά ψυχοθεραπευτικά μοντέλα αποτελεί αρωγό για την βέλτιστη παροχή υπηρεσιών με επιστημονική κατάρτιση και ανθρωποκεντρικό προσανατολισμό.

Στο πλαίσιο της ακαδημαϊκής του δραστηριότητας, συντονίζει για δύο διαδοχικά εξάμηνα στο Πάντειο Πανεπιστήμιο Κοινωνικών και Πολιτικών Επιστημών την εφαρμογή του Προγράμματος Ομαδικής Συμβουλευτικής, με τίτλο «Ποια είναι η δική σου υπερδύναμη;», με τη συμμετοχή προπτυχιακών φοιτητών. Το έργο αυτό εστιάζει στη μελέτη των δυνατών στοιχείων του χαρακτήρα του κάθε ατόμου το πως αυτά επηρεάζουν την αυτοεικόνα και την καριέρα του και πως γνωρίζοντας τα μπορεί να τα εφαρμόσει σε ένα ομαδικό πλαίσιο, με τη χρήση βιωματικών ασκήσεων.

Το 2020, πραγματοποίησε την πρακτική του άσκηση στον Συμβουλευτικό Σταθμό του Δήμου Πετρούπολης, όπου είχε την ευκαιρία να ασκηθεί στην ψυχολογική αξιολόγηση, στη λήψη ιστορικού και στη συμβουλευτική στήριξη πολιτών που απευθύνονταν στη δομή. Υπό τη συνεχή εποπτεία διεπιστημονικής ομάδας, συμμετείχε ενεργά στη διαμόρφωση θεραπευτικών πλάνων, αναπτύσσοντας δεξιότητες σύνδεσης, κατανόησης και ανάλυσης σύνθετων κλινικών δεδομένων.

Το 2021, προσέφερε εθελοντικά τις υπηρεσίες μου στον ΟΚΑΝΑ (Οργανισμός Κατά των Ναρκωτικών) και ειδικότερα στο Κέντρο Εποπτευόμενης Χρήσης «ΣΤΕΚΙ 46», στο πλαίσιο παρεμβάσεων μείωσης της βλάβης. Συμμετείχε σε ατομικές συνεδρίες με ενεργούς χρήστες, σε παρεμβάσεις συναισθηματικής αποφόρτισης και σε δράσεις «street work». Το έργο αυτό τον έφερε σε επαφή με την πραγματικότητα του κοινωνικού αποκλεισμού και της εξάρτησης, ενισχύοντας την κατανόησή του για την ψυχική δυσφορία σε περιβάλλοντα αυξημένου κινδύνου.

Από τον Ιανουάριο του 2024 έως σήμερα, εργάζεται ως Ψυχολόγος στο «Χατζηπατέρειο» Κέντρο Αποκατάστασης και Στήριξης Παιδιού (Ίδρυμα Κοινωνικής Εργασίας). Εδώ, έχει την ευθύνη για τη διεξαγωγή ατομικών και ομαδικών συνεδριών ψυχολογικής υποστήριξης σε παιδιά και τις οικογένειές τους, τη συμμετοχή σε διεπιστημονικές ομάδες αξιολόγησης, καθώς και σε εποπτικές ομάδες προσωπικού με την συνεργασία παιδοψυχιάτρου. About the specialist

Kemali Afroditi is a Psychologist - Psychotherapist conducting both online and in-person sessions. She holds a degree in Psychology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with training in Body Psychotherapy at the Wilhelm Reich Center. In recent years, she has worked as a Psychologist in an unaccompanied minors facility, providing psychological support to vulnerable groups. Currently, she coordinates a prevention group for new mothers. She has also volunteered for several years as a Psychologist at KETHEA. Additionally, she has attended various postgraduate seminars in Clinical Psychopathology at Aeginiteio Hospital and Anxiety Disorders in children and adolescents at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
