Paulopoulou Despoina is a Specialist Pathologist with a private practice in Piraeus. The physician provides high-level specialized medical services, understanding the needs of each patient with the aim of offering the best possible care. She has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of diseases comprising metabolic syndrome (dyslipidemia, arterial hypertension, prediabetes, diabetes mellitus, obesity), as well as in the prevention of their complications. She holds a degree from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and graduated with distinction in her doctoral dissertation titled: "Clinical, ultrasonographic, and laboratory study of thyroid diseases in Greece." Subsequently, she completed her specialty training in Pathology for two years at the Nursing Foundation of the Army Share Fund (NIMTS) and for three years at the Third University Pathology Clinic of "Sotiria" Hospital. In 2005, she obtained a General Medicine certificate. Throughout her career, she has participated in numerous medical conferences, with her presentations published in some of these as well as in the medical press.
