Dr. Georgiou Aleksandra MSc, PhD is a Clinical Dietitian - Nutritionist providing dietetic services at her private practice in Alimos since 2015. She holds a PhD and is a Scientific Collaborator at Harokopio University, with postgraduate and doctoral specialization in Clinical Nutrition, focusing on the nutritional management and treatment of diseases such as cardiovascular disorders, liver diseases, diabetes mellitus, nephropathies, among others. Throughout her studies, she was a scholarship recipient of the State Scholarship Foundation. She has worked as a collaborator at the Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia," offering dietetic guidance to children and adolescents with increased body weight, a service she continues to provide to children and their families at her private practice. Since 2014, she has concurrently worked as a scientific collaborator at Harokopio University, participating in the design and implementation of prevention programs and the assessment of phenomena and diseases related to nutrition, such as childhood obesity, diabetes mellitus, liver cirrhosis, etc. Additionally, she holds specialization as a Sports Nutrition Specialist under the auspices of the International Society of Sports Nutrition, providing nutritional support to athletes and exercisers. Her philosophy of dietetic monitoring is the design of individualized programs based on the needs, lifestyle, and dietary preferences of the patient.
