Lolis Xristos is a Dentist with a private practice in Psychiko. After completing his undergraduate studies, he served in the Greek army as a Cadet Officer and was discharged with the rank of reserve Second Lieutenant. In 2006, he was awarded a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation for studies at the Department of Biomaterials and Biomimetics at New York University (USA). He stayed in New York from 2007 to 2011, where he initially obtained a degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry, studying under pioneering professors in the field such as Dr. Rosenthal and Dr. Chu. He graduated from the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, New York University, where he received further training in Prosthetics and Surgical Implantology under the direction of Dr. Tarnow. Before returning to Greece, he was awarded the title of Fellow and, after successful examinations, received the title of Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He was also awarded by N.Y.U in 2010 for his research on immediate loading and bone regeneration titled "Retrospective Study of Simultaneous Placement of Dental Implants with Bone Graft in Atrophic Ridges". Since 2012, he has been an Assistant Professor (visiting Assistant Professor) at Charles University, 1st Faculty of Medicine in Prague, where he teaches Implantology. From 2013 to 2018, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ashman Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry, New York University College of Dentistry (USA). Since 2006, he has been a Scientific Collaborator in the Prosthodontics Department at the University of Athens. He lectures in Greece and abroad. From 2012 to the present, he is the Scientific Director at the dental clinics SDA, SCC, and SDP in Athens, Crete, and Paros.
