Μετεκπαιδεύτηκε στην Κλινική Πυρηνικής Ιατρικής του Πανεπιστημιακού Νοσοκομείου Ζυρίχης (USZ) σε μη επεμβατικές τεχνικές καρδιαγγειακής απεικόνισης και συγκεκριμένα στην αξονική στεφανιογραφία, το σπινθηρογράφημα και PET καρδιάς (τομογραφία εκπομπής ποζιτρονίων) και σε τεχνικές υβριδικής απεικόνισης/συγκερασμού τεχνικών. Παράλληλα, στο πλαίσιο της μετεκπαίδευσής του και της εκεί ερευνητικής του δραστηριότητας, ανακηρύχτηκε το 2021 Διδάκτορας της Ιατρικής Σχολής του Πανεπιστημίου της Ζυρίχης. Του έχει απονεμηθεί η ανώτατη πιστοποίηση επάρκειας για την εκτέλεση αξονικών καρδιάς από την Ευρωπαϊκή Εταιρεία Καρδιαγγειακής Απεικόνισης (EACVI level 3 accreditation) και την Αμερικανική Εταιρεία Αξονικών Καρδιάς (SCCT level 3 accreditation). Είναι συγγραφέας περισσότερων των 55 επιστημονικών εργασιών δημοσιευμένων σε έγκριτα διεθνή επιστημονικά περιοδικά (European Heart Journal, JACC Cardiovascular Interventions, Stroke, Atherosclerosis, International Journal of Cardiology κ.ά.).Παράλληλα, έχει παρουσιάσει πληθώρα (περισσότερες των 100) επιστημονικών εργασιών του στα μεγαλύτερα ευρωπαϊκά και διεθνή καρδιολογικά συνέδρια, ενώ επιστημονικές του εργασίες έχουν διακριθεί με διεθνή βραβεία. Andreas Tsoumeleas is an Interventional Cardiologist and the scientific director of the Health Diagnosis multi-specialty clinic. He is also the head of the Cardiology Department at the Athens Therapy Center, an Interventional Cardiologist at the Athens Bioclinic, and an external collaborator with the "HYGEIA" and "IASO GENERAL" Hospitals. He holds a degree in Medicine from the Medical School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), graduating with honors ("very good"). He completed his specialization in Cardiology, which included two years of Internal Medicine at the 2nd University Internal Medicine Clinic of the G.N.A. "Hippokration" and four years of Cardiology at the 2nd Cardiology Clinic of the General Hospital of Athens "Korgialeneio - Benakeio Hellenic Red Cross." He obtained his Cardiology specialty title in 2019. Cardiologist Tzanogiorgis Ioannis practices in Petralona and Peristeri. He graduated from the Medical School of Iuliu Hatieganu University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He completed his Cardiology specialty at the General Hospital of Piraeus "Tzaneio," where he actively participated in the clinical and educational activities of the department. Loizos Savvas MD, MSc, PhD is a Cardiologist at HYGEIA Hospital and maintains a private practice in Neos Kosmos.
