Κατοπιν εκπαιδεύτηκε στην επεμβατική καρδιολογία στο Πανεπιστημιακό νοσοκομείο του Τορόντο (Peter Munk Cardiac Center) όπου πραγματοποίησε πάνω από 1000 στεφανιογραφίες και 300 αγγειοιοπλαστικές.
